Mi jardín variedad favorita "Astrophytum" / My garden 🪴 favorite variety "Astrophytum". [ESP+ENG]

Today I want to share with you the community of Succulent Growers in charge of @nikv, some wonderful flowers of the Astrophytum variety in general. This is the first time I share a post here and I hope it will be to everyone's liking. Excellent Week !!!🌵

To begin with, I would like to tell you that I love collecting cacti and different species. Since I was very young I have been involved in the art of plants, nature and painting, mostly decorating almost all the pots. A sample of them below, I hope you like it!

Flowers 🌼 are synonymous with love, passion, positivity, happiness, tranquility, just seeing them relieves the anxiety and stress of day after day at work work or daily routine.

I love going up every afternoon to the garden to see my plants 🌱 and enjoy thorns and flowers. In this variety of succulents mostly yellow colors predominate showing friendship and white showing sympathy. Whether sadness or happiness, flowers have always been considered a sacred gift and symbol of strength to that person.

To be honest I would need several publications to show all the collection of cactus that I bring family, I just hope you enjoy these images of the most recent Astrophytum flowering in the nursery.

Soon I will show you seedlings, variegates and many hybrids that have been born in the garden, because as I live in the city center there are few bees 🐝 which function as pollinators but as they are scarce, we develop them manually, in order to obtain new seeds and then new species. 👏

To tell you a little about this species that I am very passionate about, named star cactus because of its shape, it is a cactaceae native to Mexico, where they are currently endangered due to its enormous massive extraction for the informal trade.

They stand out for their incredible flowering from yellow to half-white. These cacti 🌵 are thornless which is easy to manipulate when planting them. In my garden they bloom in spring and summer, always filling the nursery with colors.

This species is a hybrid of the variety Nudum with Capricorne, I love it because I've had it for 4 years, it is one of the mothers of the garden, the veteran 😁. Its watering is every 2 to 3 days per week, and a lot of lighting, its yellow flowering and its thorns are very strong, compared to the others this one brings. And they are one of the largest species of the genus.

As I already told you I love to be pollinating cacti, here I show you several flowering images of species born in the garden, and pollinated by me. Their flower colors range from yellow with a red center to orange. Soon I will show you more of the collection.

This one is characterized for having well defined thorns and long twisted spines. Its growth is one of the slowest according to my experience with them, it also has yellow flowers with red and orange centers according to its parents. They are of abundant sun and little water.

I got this species from a friend in Havana, Cuba 🇨🇺. It is a hybrid of the growers of Japan, it is referred to by the amount of ribs that it contains in its surroundings, I personally love it 😻.
