El pasado 10 de agosto se inauguró la fascinante exhibición del XIII Salón Regional de Paisaje, dedicada al maestro camagüeyano recientemente fallecido, Lorenzo Linares Duque en la galería Raúl Martínez del Consejo Provincial de las Artes Plásticas (CPAP) en mi ciudad natal Ciego de Ávila.
La muestra está conformada por más de 30 obras y permanecerá expuesta hasta el 10 de septiembre como parte de las actividades culturales de verano.

Hello community, family and art lovers 🖼 on @diyhub! Greetings to all. Last August 10, the fascinating exhibition of the XIII Regional Landscape Salon, dedicated to the recently deceased Camagüeyan master Lorenzo Linares Duque, opened at the Raúl Martínez Gallery of the Provincial Council of Plastic Arts (CPAP) in my hometown Ciego de Avila.
The exhibition is made up of more than 30 works and will remain on display until September 10 as part of the summer cultural activities.
Esta exposición reúne el trabajo de varias figuras del arte: René Rodríguez, Orlando García Fajardo, Humberto Del Rio Rodríguez, Carlos Roberto Sánchez Rodríguez, Raudel Ruiz Vázquez, Karina Corria Medina, Pedro Quiñonez Triana y Nelson Wencelao Garcia Pérez.
Los artistas nos enseñan a ver, a encontrar la belleza natural en el todo. Expresan en los cuadros una tonalidad de colores vibrantes y pinceladas rápidas para captar la esencia de los paisajes avileños. Por ello, tenemos que ser capaces de dejar que nuestra mirada recorra esa superficie que se ofrece ante nuestro visión, que nos cuente historias y despierte sentimientos, haciendo de esta galería no solo una fiesta para los ojos, sino también para el alma.
Los artistas nos enseñan a ver, a encontrar la belleza natural en el todo. This exhibition brings together the work of several art figures: René Rodríguez, Orlando García Fajardo, Humberto Del Rio Rodríguez, Carlos Roberto Sánchez Rodríguez, Raudel Ruiz Vázquez, Karina Corria Medina, Pedro Quiñonez Triana and Nelson Wencelao Garcia Pérez.
The artists teach us to see, to find the natural beauty in the whole. They express in the paintings a tonality of vibrant colors and quick brushstrokes to capture the essence of the landscapes of Avila. Therefore, we must be able to let our gaze roam over this surface that is offered to our vision, that tells us stories and awakens feelings, making this gallery not only a feast for the eyes, but also for the soul.

Conquistan nuestra mirada obras de disimiles técnicas que captan el entorno de ciudad o de campo de manera real o imaginaria, en un amplio abanico colorido que demuestran el talento y la creatividad sin límites.
Las piezas expositivas fueron cuidadosamente seleccionadas por un jurado de admisión, destacando las más sublimes, las premiadas y aquellas que causan una mayor impresión en el mundo del arte.

Works of dissimilar techniques that capture the city or countryside environment in a real or imaginary way, in a wide range of colors that demonstrate talent and creativity without limits, conquer our gaze.
The exhibition pieces were carefully selected by an admission jury, highlighting the most sublime, the award-winning and those that cause a greater impression in the art world.

En la parte final de la galería encontramos varias artes que destacan por su luminosidad, vistas al mar 🌊 , flores abstractas muy coloridas y detalles insospechados de paisajes. Lugares como "Punta Alegre" donde iba cuando más pequeño a pasar mis vacaciones y pescar entre amigos. Además de mencionar la obra más ganadora del certamen, y que acogiera el Gran Premio 🥇.
In the final part of the gallery we find several arts that stand out for their luminosity, sea views 🌊 , very colorful abstract flowers and unsuspected details of landscapes. Places like "Punta Alegre" where I used to go when I was younger to spend my vacations and fishing among friends. In addition to mentioning the most winning work of the contest, and that hosted the Grand Prize 🥇.

Título: Horario Pico, Humberto Del Rio Rodríguez.Y es que esta obra no solo es bella por captar la realidad en su trasiego en ese momento casi cumbre del día avileño, sino, además, porque el equilibrio y profundidad en su propuesta nos coloca justo a la altura de la calle retratada y hasta nos da sensación, o el vértigo, de entrar en otra dimensión.
Quizás pudiera parecer poco trascendente que la representación aproveche el dramatismo de lo blanco y negro, o si la textura a base de pinceladas nos saca, por un instante, de la misma técnica; lo cierto es que su preciosismo seduce y consigue transmitir toda la vorágine del quehacer humano.

Title: Schedule Pico, Humberto Del Rio Rodríguez.This work is not only beautiful because it captures the reality in its movement in that almost peak moment of the day in Avila, but also because the balance and depth of its proposal places us right at the height of the street portrayed and even gives us the sensation, or vertigo, of entering another dimension.
Perhaps it might seem unimportant that the representation takes advantage of the drama of black and white, or if the texture based on brushstrokes takes us, for an instant, out of the same technique; the truth is that its preciousness seduces and manages to transmit the whole maelstrom of human activity.
A estas alturas, involucrar a cada uno de los miembros de la ACAA con los eventos expositivos existentes en la provincia, acercar su trabajo al público e insistir en la promoción y el acompañamiento del artista, son alternativas que pudieran devolvernos galerías llenas y expectativas satisfechas. Con esta nueva entrega del salón regional de paisajes, no queda otra que gritar, a los cuatro vientos, ¡Larga vida al paisajismo en Ciego de Ávila!

At this point, involving each of the members of the ACAA with the existing exhibition events in the province, bringing their work closer to the public and insisting on the promotion and support of the artist, are alternatives that could give us back full galleries and satisfied expectations. With this new installment of the regional landscape exhibition, there's nothing left but to shout from the rooftops, Long live landscape painting in Ciego de Avila!
