THE ANGELS OF LIGHT?
LORE IN SPLINTERLANDS:
The existence of the Lunakari has been a secret to the Splinterlands until very recently, when a small group of these women descended. They stride about the lands of Khymeria like they own the place, claiming to anyone who protests that they are the true and rightful heirs to the Angels' land. The Lunakari women speak with a breathy and ethereal dialect, reverently addressing one another as Mistress. Each of the Lunakari Mistresses carries magical powers the likes of which the Splinterlands have never seen. Any resistance they meet in Khymeria is quickly deescalated by their frightening charge of power and red glowing eyes as they begin to weave their strange Lunakari spells. The mere threat of a magic attack from a Lunakari Mistress is usually enough to convince a Khymian commoner to give over any (or all) of their possessions.

Art Process:
I begin by visualizing how I want my art to look when itβs finished. I include as many details as I want to see in the final drawing in my line art, even if I plan to erase some of them later while rendering. Itβs like creating a detailed blueprint that helps guide me through the process. Even though Iβll erase parts, that initial vision keeps me on track. Do you have any particular techniques for handling those details as you work?
I tried to achieve a more dynamic pose than usual to challenge my self as well as to add something to my mental library... After making the line art I proceeded with adding the basic color of the drawing.
After that I started to render our character, I started with the skin and then the face.
As I continued with the drawing, I can really see how I have improved overtime considering how I now know how to render certain parts of the body and I have now my own way of redering particular drawings.
Here I finished rendering the hair, it was fun to do. Especially know that I have a particular way in rendering hair. The next is the dress the and the bracers.
The next i render is the magic effect on the hands, this was particularly very tricky for me to render because its new to me. I liked how it turned out though...
hehe very nice... well done self. And finally for the last render I added the background and foreground design. I just exepericented with the design because I was confused on what background to put her in.
With that done my entry for week 316 in the splinterlands art contest is done. I hope that everyone liked my drawing and enjoyed reading through this blog.
Good Luck to all entries this week!!π₯π₯
