Alive & Thriving Thoughtful Thursday : All the World's a Stage... || AATYr5 || Slice of Life 😆

Perhaps it's just me, but do you get the feeling that we're living a 3D SIM life? That we are all simply players in this game called life? We all have a role to play, a part to carry out. Then, when we've served our purpose, it's time to bow out. I don't know why I started with this thought. I'd say I get lots of time for reflection whenever I do my morning chores of cleaning the kitty litter boxes. Sometimes, that sets the tone for the mood of the day. Other times, I simply forget about what I was reflecting on. 😂 Then, it comes back on another day. Whatever the truth about life, remember to be extra grateful on this #thankfulThursday.

Last night as I was dozing off to sleep, came the loud sirens of some fire trucks. It sounded so near yet so far. I'm not sure if that makes sense at all. Although it set off some paranoia in me (I've had this feeling since I was younger), I was too tired and sleepy to even get out of bed and check it out. I didn't want to go outside the flat and have a peek, so I lay in bed trying to listen intently. Maybe I fell asleep eventually when all was quiet again. Gosh, I hope that never happens again. 😒

On the lighter side of life, I decided to cook myself some real tuna spaghetti. 😅 This is our favorite tuna brand as it's really worth it, though it's more expensive than the corned tuna. I sauteed the tuna in butter (cooked the spaghetti separately) and added the cooked spaghetti to the tuna. To spice things up a bit, I added a few teaspoons of chili garlic oil. Voila! That's my dinner with my yoghurt drink. Glad I have enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow. I honestly do not fancy doing a lot of cooking. However, we do need to eat to live. 😂 I actually ordered frozen meals to be delivered on Sunday when my assistant comes back. That way she can be the one to go downstairs to receive it. I'll see if it's worth it. That should be more than enough for a week or so of meals. Stay tuned.

I've procrastinated a bit before writing this post, so it's a little late. Nonetheless, I'm glad I gathered my wandering thoughts enough to write something that I hope makes sense. My reflections at the beginning of the post is an ongoing one. For sure, it does not end with my mentioning it here. I've been looking more deeply into it IRL. 😝
