Alive & Thriving Surprise Saturday : A Visit from My Cousin || AATYr5 || Slice of Life 😆

Yipee, it's my day off now. 😅 Oops, I actually fell asleep as I started writing this post. 😂 Anyway, I had a fine Saturday. Unfortunately, little Dos has not been found. I want to be optimistic but I know the odds are against me. After all, I did lose two five-year old kitties -- Twilight & Grumpy -- last year. 😔 They were outdoor kitties who grew up outside and yet they've gone missing. Perhaps it was voluntary. I don't know. A part of me is pretty sad that I couldn't protect the kitties more. I wish I could. 🙏❤️💡

Glad I took my time before closing up for the night. Just as I closed my door, someone came knocking. I was surprised to see my cousin Maggie and her husband who dropped by to bring me some goodies. The above pie is delicious. 😋

These little ube ensaymaditas (little ensaymadas) are too yummy. 😋 Ahh, I'm truly thankful for the treats.

It's truly very late now -- thankful I can stay up 'coz it's my day off. Then I heard a loud kitty crying from outside. I simply needed to take a peek. Lo and behold, it's little Dos who initially ran away from me. Thankfully, she just went to the terrace hallway, so I grabbed my cane and went after her. Seems she's too hungry. I'm glad she somehow found her way home. Thank you to all who helped pray for her return. I'm glad she's a smart kitty. I bet the outdoor kitties also had a hand in helping her come back. 🙏❤️💡

Alas, the first week in December is over. We're now entering the second full week. I'm still counting down to year end -- 24 days (as of Saturday), even if it's now wee hours of Sunday here. 🤣
