Happy FriYAY 🎉 Just when I thought I'd welcome the weekend on a high note, my co-worker took an early out, then work load suddenly piled up. 😒 No fun to run out of gas! 😒

I managed to complete the tasks but was a little stressed that I felt that I have no reserve energy to think creatively of what I will prep for dinner. In the end, I decided to treat myself to takeout food from the neighborhood restaurant that delivers to my doorstep.

Sweet and sour pork. I missed this dish. I haven't ordered it in a long while. It's one of the things that popped on my mind when I asked myself what I felt like eating after that stressful last few hours of work. Admittedly, not needing to cook took away the added stress of coming up with something for dinner. In the process, I also got to treat the kitties with their fave fried chicken.

Hmm, I think the fried chicken is a bit overcooked. Thankfully, the kitties won't mind that at all. I bet they would simply be too happy to enjoy some extra treats tonight. 😅 I personally think the restaurant has new cooks since we've been ordering from them for a long time and lately, some of the dishes have a different appeal. I'm not sure if that makes sense. It's just different from what I remember. 😝 Well, the dishes are still delicious so it's not a huge issue for me. I'm totally grateful to lighten up my load and destress a bit by not having to cook. Once again, I'm correct in that my stress does come from other folks. 😛 Tonight, I chose to deflect it by treating myself to restaurant cooked meals. I have enough leftovers for tomorrow too. The fact that I need not think of food to prep tomorrow leaves a smile on my face. 🤣

Can't believe there's a day left in November. 😮 One year ago today was my daughter's flight to Barcelona. I remember treating myself to watching Poirot just to calm my nerves and pass the time. I went to bed then while she was still en route to Spain. Wow! How fast time flew by! Well, I'm still taking things one day at a time. 32 days till end of 2024.

I actively work on these affiliate sites daily. Just received my LL payout the other day, and my goal is to keep going till I reach another payout. Working on these sites keeps me focused. I like it that there's a predictable part of my day.

I've still got one more work day. I hope it will be a quiet one since it's technically a local holiday -- Bonifacio Day. Oh well. That's life. Do have a funtastic weekend! I'll start enjoying mine at the end of my work day. Nighty night from Manila. Ta-tah! 👋
