Happy Chooseday 🎉 Remember to choose happy today... (and every single day). Admittedly, there are days when that's easy. There are days when it takes double the effort to do so. It is what it is. If you have more than enough happy, try saving some in an imaginary bottle so you can release it when you need it. 😂 This works for me, even for short moments.

I'm beginning to doubt my weather app now. I've stopped checking it often as it never rains when it says it would. 😖 What's the point? 🙄 In case you have rituals that work, please share them with me. One local belief I've heard is that if you bathe a cat, it would rain. I haven't tried bathing them alone as it's pretty much like armageddon. 😂 I do have foam bath sprays that I rarely use now that I'm alone. I'll wait till I have enough energy to try it one cat at a time. I'll start with the kittens (but I'm waiting till they grow a bit bigger). 🤔

Alive&Thriving Chooseday Thoughts

I like rainy days. I don't mean the ones when it rains a while then turns hot throughout the day. I mean the ones when you hardly see the sun, and it's just cloudy and rainy all the time. I guess we used to consider them stormy days. Yes, I'd like more of those please. 🙏 One big reason is to save on electricity bills (so I need not turn on the cooling system). The heat in the flat used to be tolerable esp. when it's no longer the summer season. 🤔 It, however, has become hotter in the last few years. 😒 It's a bit scary when you think of the changes that the planet is going through. I think we're now closer to the cycle for another reset (?). Some may not believe it, but I do know there might be some truth in it. No one would announce it, naturally, to prevent mass hysteria. Besides, I'm pretty sure the powers that be already have escape pods built somewhere. Well, I wouldn't worry about that. I will simply make the most of my days with the kitties and guinea pigs. It will come when it will come. 🤣 There's something good that comes with being just an NPC... 😝

Rain background sound is on while I'm working on this post. It does help cool me down a bit. The trouble when I play it during the day is it lulls me to sleep. 😂 I can't afford that as I do have day work. I do play it a bit when I don't fall fast asleep at night (which hardly ever happens as I'm just too sleepy at the end of my day). 😌

I'm praying for some good news at the moment. I'll share more when good news has happened already. 🤣 Somehow, I don't want it to be jinxed. (Yes, I can be pretty superstitious at times.)

Let me recap my quest for today... (6/6)

LN - daily goal completed for the challenge 👍 weekly now at 39%.. that's still a long way from getting completed.. let's wait and see..

CTPX - daily run completed today. Unfortunately, 🍀 has run out so no wins again...

LL - daily surf and convert completed 👍 I'm less than ten cents away from $9 so I'm working towards pay out level now... (a little over $10 so fees can be covered)

TAB - minimum daily surf plus a few more to reach my daily 900points target. I got lucky 888 though (rare feat nowadays)

FAFY - Yay, I'm at 26% of my reward points goal for the month 🙌 I do more of these little activities once a week...

ITB - completed my five shares again today 🙌

My day is almost over again. Can I now hit the pause button so it lasts longer and I get some more rest? 🤣 Imagine if one need not look at the time and simply be free to go about one's day. #Iwish Hopefully, I get to enjoy some of those days. It was funny how Mom did not seem to enjoy her retirement. Well, I'm more of a homebody so I wouldn't mind that if I could have as much spending money. It's tough to run a household these days with rising costs of living. 🙄 Alas, that's a thought for another day. I try not to think too much esp. when it's almost bedtime.
