Rot Thai Buffet Steamboat and Grilled

I can never resist a good TomYam seafood with all my favourite ingredients and also fragrant grilled marinated meat at the sides. Yums!

Rot Thai is all yellow-theme; from wall to chairs and tables. Luckily, the customers are not minions but humans. 😂

All the cooked food for hungry tummy before we dived into the steamboat and grilled food. Yummy fried rice, fried noodles, dessert soup, fruits and drinks.

Here are all eggs, dried noodles and sauces.

To find the worth in the price paid, get more food from here; fish slices, prawns, squid, all sorts of marinated meat, and those frozen food.

My husband and I really love all-you-can-eat-buffet, be it the steamboat type or the grilled type. Some time back, we found another one which has both steamboat and grilled. So, no more waiting. Let's go!

Rot Thai Buffet Steamboat and Grilled

If you are not over-picky over food and environment, this can be one of your best choice. When we went, it was slightly crowded and noisy. Of course, with grilling on every table, you felt humid and warm. Nevertheless, my husband and I really enjoyed our dinner.

Rot Thai Buffet is known for its yellow-painted environment with yellow wall, yellow chairs and tables. I actually kinda liked it, it made me feeling sunny and radiant. I actually thought the whole place looked really beautiful. Very stood up.!!
Rot Thai Buffet's steamboat had two types of soup, one was original soup which was given free and if you wanted tomyam, you just added another RM5. To live up to its name, of course we ordered our Tomyam soup for our steamboat soup base. Mind you, the tomyam soup was very spicy to me although it was manageable for my husband.

I was not a picky eater and I was very satisfied with the spread of food there. There was a section with cooked food like fried rice, fried noodles and occasionally toppoki or kimchi. Of course, variety of sweet desserts too, as well as fruits and drinks. I had learned to eat these lesser so that my stomach had more space for the grilled meat. However, I still tried a little of everything here.

Another section would be variety of noodles for you to cook in your soup. Here, there were two types of eggs too and various sauces for your dipping.

And another section was my most favourite section. Here, there were fish slices, prawns, squid, all the frozen food like sausages, fish balls and crabmeat, as well as all types of marinated meat for your grilling. We really enjoyed taking more from this section. Eating meat at all-you-can-eat-buffet was the most worthwhile to spend. If only we had that huge stomach. And if you are on carnivore diet, eating here was worth every penny spent!

Although it was all-you-can-eat-buffet, we were advised not to waste or overtaking what you couldn't eat. So every 2kg of unfinished food would have its penalty payments. So, we tried to take smaller portion per time, and when not enough, only we went and refill again. And again. And again.

We were sooooo full after refilling 3rd round. And I wanted was ice cream and they served my childhood ice cream, those more icy type in longish plastic. I super loved it!
The price was really affordable at RM30 per adult and RM20 for children, while children below 100cm could eat for free! I would definitely come back here again.
