The Champion of the Arena - Death Team

I am here again doing another post in this series this week. This is my fifth post in this series regarding the Gladiators from the Gladius Pack. As usual this post will cover the next element which is the death element consisting of 6 monsters from the gladius pack. If you are following this series, this showcase the gladiator cards which are not that discussed as gladius cards can only be use in the brawls. The last post that I will be posting next week will consist of the 2 remaining monsters which belongs to the dragon and neutral element.

Disclaimer: All information below are based on my opinion and playstyle. Each player has its own opinion regarding these cards and I'm just going to share my opinion.

My current highest level Whistling Damon is a ★2 normal foil and midway to increase his level.

Here are some highlight's about Whistling Damon:

• Whistling Damon have a high speed and snipe ability which is very dangerous especially dealing with range and magic opponents. The snipe ability is a good combination with the bloodlust ability to bypass tank units and directly go for those range and magic units which do have low health. Each kill will trigger the bloodlust ability to powerup this monster.
• In higher level the piercing ability and snare ability would be an additional help against armored and flying units. The attack has been boost as well.
• Be careful to those monster with opportunity attack as Whistling Damon's health is not that high.

Usage: Whistling Damon is a very good gladiator card which can be use in different situation especially with back to basic, close range, explosive weaponry and little league.

My current highest level Witch of Warwick is a ★2 normal foil and is halfway to go to increase her level.

Witch of Warwick seems to be a good gladiator card simply because of her ability. She deals a good magic damage with the life leech ability which is pretty good to increase her low health. In higher league, she can inflict poison and affliction which is very good in higher league.

Witch of Warwick can be compare with Venari Bonesmith and Life Sapper as both of this monsters also have the life leech and deals magic damage. The only difference is that Witch of Warwick cannot be use in little league and since this is a gladiator card, she have the bloodlust ability which further increase her magic damage thus increasing further her life leeching ability.

Usage: Witch of Warnick is very vulnerable in opportunity and snipe attack but once she will activates her bloodlust ability, every magic damage is too strong. Don't use this card if ruleset is weak magic or facing enemies with void and void armor abilities.

My current highest level Kotriphus Bayne is a ★2 normal foil which is generally a tank gladiator.

Kotriphus Bayne is a very good tank monster. Looking at the stats of this card, he does have a very high health and a good melee attack. Usually a tank is a very slow monsters which apply to this monster.

In lower level, bloodlust is the only ability this card have while the retaliate is a very powerful ability together with the bloodlust as it will help to trigger the bloodlust ability. Another great ability upon maximizing the level of this card is the enrage ability which further boost the stats of this card. It may be unstopable at some point when this is triggered.

Don't use this card if fighting against very fast monsters as it might not hit the target and may be killed easily by those speed monsters.

Usage: Best to use as a tank and in reverse speed. In lower league this card is also good as a tank while protecting the backline allies.

My current highest level Liza Fox is a ★2 normal foil. This card is a good range damager.

Liza Fox is a very good gladiator card that deals a 4 range damage. With a high range damage, there is a higher chance to kill the enemies and trigger the bloodlust ability. The speed of this card good enough as well.

In higher league, this card can cause stun effect and can even reduce magic damage which is very compatible with Thaddius Brood and Mimosa Nightshade.

It can even be use in back to basic together with other range death monsters that deals a high damage. The only noticeable is that Liza Fox cost 7 mana which is good for high mana battle.

Usage: Liza Fox can be use in different situation but can only be use in high mana match. Can be use with Dhampir Stalker and Lira the Dark for further range damage in the frontline. Don't use this card in ruleset such as fire & regret and reverse speed.

My current highest level Trapp Falloway is a ★1 normal foil. Trapp Falloway being an epic card do have a pretty good stats.

Just by looking at the stats of Trapp Falloway, it does have a pretty good stats. First, at base level it have a 4 health, speed and melee attack with a 4 mana cost. Second is the weaken and bloodlust ability which is very good and very compatible with Thaddius Brood as their combination will remove 2 health to all enemies which then easily triggers bloodlust as Trapp Falloway can defeat the monsters in a single hit. And lastly in higher league, the halving ability which is very special as this ability is only appeared in the promo card. This card won't miss becaue of the true strike.

The only bad thing about this card is that it cannot attack when position in the backline as placing this card in the frontline is not advisable because of only 4 health. It may be defeated easily if placing this in the 1st position.

The best ruleset this card can be use is the equal opportunity, melee mayhem and super sneak.

Usage: A very powerful card but can only be use if this card can attack in the backline position which are for equal opportunity, melee mayhem and super sneak. Since this card is a 4 mana cost, it is also good in little league.

Another legendary card which is yet to appear in my gladius pack.

Xulax Nightwind is also a pretty good tank especially against magic. Looking at the stats, Xulax do have a high armor and health. The melee attack and speed is pretty decent which is compatible with the bloodlust ability. The void armor is pretty great against magic and even compatible with death summoners.

In higher level, the thorn, void and magic reflect ability further enhance this card on being a very great tank in the frontline. The 9 mana cost is even pretty good as this card is not affected by the giant killer ability.

Usage: A tank against melee and magic units and can be use in different situation. Best against magic units due to void, void armor and magic reflect ability.

Comparing with the other element, death gladiator monsters is a very well balance and all of those monsters can be use in different situation.

Kotriphus Bayne and Xulax Nightwind are very great tank. Xulax is against magic units while Kotripus Bayne is a tank because of his high health.

Whistling Damon, Witch of Warwick and Liza Fox are damager in the backline which is pretty strong while Trapp Falloway is a very strong but only when there is a equal opportunity, super sneak or melee mayhem ruleset.
