Another massive day of Spendhbd

Today is exactly ten days from the launching date of SHOKiN for the people of Aba, Nigeria. 2/12/2024 was the estimated day for our second Shokin day but was postponed to today the 4th day of November for it, reason being as law abiding citizens of my country and state and movement being restricted we had to adhere to the law for our safety though.

For this workshop, time and date was scheduled for today ahead of time and for 10am Nigerian time. Unfortunately for me i was a little behind time but surprisingly walking in to our meeting point it seems i was among the early bird as we had just three people present before my arrival.

The host @bummblebee walked in and made us believe the workshop wasn't going to hold because the newbies disappointed but to our greatest surprise the hall got filled up.

The host didn't waste time in starting the workshop as we were behind time and @fokusnow gave him thirty minutes to do justice giving insight to what Spending HBD is all about. He really did a nice job in every aspect of it.

Fast-forward to the store were we are to shop. The storekeeper welcomed us with a smiling and that alone made me love her. She was so receptive, amid the stress of attending to about twenty hive users who pick and drop what the pick replacing with another and other customers who walks in and out she never changed the look on her face.

Aside our unbranded reusable bags, little did i know we have flyers to make adverts for spendhbd. I was able to get some for myself.

Shopping was easy with this woman(storekeeper), and the network was strong. The turn out on the day two SHOKiN was massive as never expected and the HBD spent by the present hivers was huge.

I believe our day three will out way the two, as we the shoppers expect more shops to be listed.

We want to do more regarding this project, innovation on the way. We are ready to welcome and follow new ideas as this project moves to achieve it aim.
