Today I will be sharing this amazing idea that I have made for Mother's Day, it is very simple the truth is that today was my day off so I was cleaning my room and I found some book pages that are small, I liked the color, because the book is very old, so the old gold color caught my attention and that's where I had the idea to make some cards, with a vintage style.

I made a card for my mom and one for my grandmother, I used cardboard, recyclable book pages, glue, marker, scissors, rose petals and rose leaves, I am going to show you the pictures I took while I was making the cards, I am going to show you the pictures I took while I was making the cards.

Here you can see how I cut the book pages to glue them to the cardboard.

This process is very simple, you can use a brush, after gluing the cut book leaves, we add glue, on top, this makes the leaves are protected, they also become brighter and increases the color of the book leaves.

There you can see how it looks in the parts where I have not added glue, you can see with less color and when we add glue the leaves look more alive with a golden color.

Lastly, I removed petals from a real rose, then glued them together and added glue on top in order to fix and protect the petals and leaves of the roses.

Finally I have finished these beautiful vintage cards, I just need to make some envelopes to put them inside.

Another thing that is important is not to throw your books in the trash, you can use them for recycling, but do not throw them away, books are very important so it is good to have them in cards, drawings, pictures and many other things, but they should never go in the trash.
