Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge - The Rise of the Commons Ruleset
Hello all Splinterlands warlocks, I am very happy to be back active here once again, after a long inactivity with my blogging, I am excited to write here and participate in the Splinterlands weekly challenge. Today, I write to participate in the battle mage secrets weekly challenge and for this week, we have the The Rise of the Commons as our ruleset. Stay tuned and watch out for my entry here in this battle.
Before we commence with the battle, we have to briefly discuss the ruleset of the battle we are going to have.
The rise of the Commons Only common and rare units may be used in battles. Summoners are unaffected by this rule.Summoner Used: OBSIDIAN
I used the OBSIDIAN Summoner which increases all magic attack monsters by two magic attacks. This summoner costs 4 mana and it is a level one card. With my line-up, I had five monsters and they were Venari Marksrat, Chaos Agent, Moxian Rebel, Blackmoor Nymph, and Mycelic Morphoid. My opponent had three monsters in his lineup, including Antoid Platoon, Gobalano Soldjier, and Tenyii Striker. The Gobalano Soldjier is an ambush monster and it strikes before battle begins.
Battle Rounds
First: In the first round, all monsters took effect from the summoners respectively. First of all, Gobalano Soldjier who has the ambush ability attacked and eliminated my Mycelic Morphoid monster before the battle began.
Gobalano Soldjier then attacked my monsters after which Tenyii Striker then attacked and eliminated my last-positioned monster. My two monsters then attacked with their magic attacks by couldn't eliminate any monster from my opponent's lineup. At the end of the round, two of my monsters were eliminated already.
Second: In the second round, Gobalano with the highest speed among all the monsters attacked first followed by the Tenyii Striker monster which was able to eliminate the Moxian Rebel monster.
Chaos Agent finally attacked and eliminated my opponent's first-position monster after which the round came to an end. At the end of the round, I was left with two monsters similar to my opponent.
Third:
In the third round, as usual first attack came Tenyii Striker which eliminated Chaos Agent once with its attack and now I was left with only Venari Marksrat in the first position which can't even do an attack in the first position.
The battle did not go further from this stage and I was defeated in just three rounds. I would say it was embarrassing but my team was a good one although he had a lot of opportunity monsters that gave him the chance to win me so easily.
That was not a challenging battle for me, but I have learned my lesson and I am hoping to put together a great team next time when the same ruleset is given again. Check out the battle link here
