Let's create something classic (pen drawing)

Hello beautiful people, I've come with a new classic design on my work,it's a portrait of a boss given to me by his workers,to be presented to him on his birthday, was told is a fan of artwork...I was given the picture but how do I go about creating something captivating, anxiety made me had so many choky ideas that could swallow up the person who is the focus itself,I gave it some time, relaxed and this simple design came in...had it been I went for the first ideas,I would anxiously flood the work...

Sometimes be slow to put down your designs on a surface or make a rough sketch somewhere first...

I made this pretty piece with pinpoint and ballpoint pen,the ballpoint for shading and the pin mouth to make tiny lines for edges or faint demarcations
A line is a continuation of dot and a shape is an external form of some which is also gotten from a line, drawing is all about manipulation of line and shape, that's more reason why I include it vividly as a design on my work.
There are lots of challenges creating this work, the glasses on his face didn't really look like it has a lens because there was no reflection of light,I created one at the tip top of the right hand side, just a little,I got tired shading the suit, lots of strokes needed to be made to cover up the blank spot and made repeatedly to thicken the cloth and match the opacity....the florescent triangle had to be made fading into the air and creating depth, this would have been much more easier if it was made with oil colour and brush but that's purpose anyway,we chose pen.

The processes are shown below, thanks for checking....
