The lessons I learnt from the teaching during the zoom meeting.

Ecclesiastes 6:12 states:

"For who knows what is good for a man during his lifetime, during the few and meaningless days he spends as a vapor? Who can tell him what will happen under the sun after he is gone?"

This verse is suggesting that human life is short and uncertain, and that it is difficult to know what is truly good or beneficial for a person during their lifetime. It also implies that our time on earth is fleeting and that the true meaning of our lives may be found after we die..so we should live a life pleasing to the commandment of God , so that we will not die in sin..

2 Peter 3 : 9

"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance

This verse is saying that God is not slow in fulfilling his promises, as some may think. Rather, He is patient and wants all people to repent and come to a knowledge of the truth, rather than facing destruction. The lesson I learnt from the message is that God's timing is not the same as our timing and that He is giving people the opportunity to turn to him and be saved...

Acts 10 vs 35

In Acts 10. In these verses, Peter, one of Jesus's apostles, is speaking to Cornelius and his household about the message of Jesus. He states:

Chapter 34

Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism..

Chapter 35

but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right."

The lesson from these verses emphasize that God shows no partiality and accepts all who fear Him and do what is right, regardless of their background or ethnicity. This message was significant in the early Christian church as it helped to break down barriers between different groups of people and solidify the acceptance of Gentiles into the community of believers...
