First day at work
So I woke up by 5 to start dressing for work...(if you stay in Lagos you'll know what traffic is like in the morning) I was meant to resume by 8, I got to work by 9🙆🙆..I was like my village people don find me come...after many months of looking for a job ,I finally got this and dey no wan make I do am in peace🤣🤣. I don already package lie wey I wan tell but... luckily for me,my boss wasn't at the office yet so I just sat and waited for her...
I was so damn nervous because,you know the spirit that comes to whisper to you that you're not good enough or you're not qualified (but you're god damn over qualified) when you want to start something new? Yea....the bastard came but when my boss started telling me my roles,the whisperer was silenced..☺️☺️
As the day progressed, though I fumbled in some things but my boss is like the best..she kept telling me not to worry that it gets better with time, and I really wanted to prove myself to her that giving me the job was wasn't a mistake,so i tried to do my best...☺️
Then after the day's work it was another wahala of getting a bus home,the pushing and shoving no be here I swear🤣🤣me that was tired I get strength?🤣🤣 I just calmed down dey wait,shey they said a patient dog eats the fattest bone🤔🤔 no be for Lagos o... because instead of #100 nah #200 I pay😭😭..
Well thank God I got home at a reasonable time but it was indeed kinda memorable for me☺️☺️
No be small thing o. I'm not sure I would have such desire to work in Lagos unless my house will be close to my office. The traffic hedge is damn tiresome.
Meanwhile, it would be nice if you had introduced yourself first. But not too late anyway, you can still do that with your subsequent post. You can reach out to the person who introduced you here to give you some guidelines on how to go about.
