Walk to The Village
Happy greetings wherever you are. Thank you Wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay as manager. Share experience of traveling to village starting from Nagrog village to Central Karawang. This location is about 7 kilometers from the small town of Sukabumi, west Java.
One of the characteristics of the village is that it still has extensive agricultural land and plantation. Even though the village road has been hardered, it is not wide on the hill, so the road goes up and down.
During my trip to the village, I found vegetables plants such as long Beans, cecim vegetables, green chilies, Bean and corn crops. The vegetables plants had started to grow and there were some that had just started cultivating the land and had just planted pokcoy vegetables.
The plants are fenced with Bamboo, the village here also produces Bamboo plants. Types of vegetables plants are taken that are quickly harvested in around two to three month.
From rice farming some of the produce is for own consumption and some of the train is sold out. The way to cultivate the rice field is still using Traditional methods. Oranges plants are also s main stay, the oranges planted are local seed oranges, when they are harvested they Will be sold at the nearest market.
Water management in this village is quite good agriculture relies on irrigation, the water is quite clean and people have learned not to throw rubbish in to Solokan. For water needs the people here use water from the mountains which is stored in tanks.
Then distributed through pipe to their respective homes. The village children who were far from the city looked happy and were playing with dirt the some of the food stall to buy Snack, there are additional stalls being built using Bamboo materialis.
Living condition in the village are quite simple the majority of houses are still Traditional. The house materialis use Wood, the Walls use plank and the roof is covering uses old style earthen tiles.
Thank you very much.
