Inviting New Users is Easy but Retaining Them is Difficult

This is a serious topic and we have to deal with it on a serious note. Being on Leofinance discord channel I did see some new users showing their frustration for not receiving rewards on their posts. And to some extent, their concern do have some weight. It is frustrating to not get the rewards for your efforts.

Now that we have felt the need for promoting Leofinance/ Hive to the rest of the internet users and some steps have been taken promoting it and I myself also try to share my posts on Twitter for more exposure.

But the point is, when the new users join Hive or Leofinance, are we then trying to retain them? By retaining, I meant to say, are we supporting and helping them?

Inviting and signing users up is an easy task but retaining them is difficult. I am happy that I do whatever I could do for these new users on my level.

On one side being a community we should be supporting and helping new users out plus also guide them out.

New Users : A Few Quick Tips to Follow

If you are just new to Leofinance / Hive and looking how to go with it, then these tips are for you.

• Being a new member, you have to work on your username by building it. Take your usernames as your brand names and try building it. Engage with the community in comments, share your thoughts on user's posts. Be honest in your comments and this is how you will get yourself noticed in the community and will get exposure.

• You need to check the pulse of the community by digging out what the community likes to read and upvote for. And I think it's not a difficult task. Open Leofinance.io or Hive.blog, check featured or trending posts and other posts by scrolling through the page and you may find what topic to write about.

• And I think the most important thing is consistency. How many of people quit in frustration just before getting there? Probably many people. Remember, Hive or Leofinance is not a get rich quick scheme. You have to work hard out here on consistent basis. Even it gets frustrating for me as well, but as I have convinced myself to not fell into frustration, I try to be as active as I can and don't lose consistency.
