Trust is a very delicate trait of a relationship. Many a times, when trust is in place, everything moves at lightning speed where people just agree to things without consideration due to the rapport and credibility built up over time.

However, it can go in a separate direction where a relation between two parties is filled with lack of credibility. With such a relationship, things become much more inefficient. Many hours are being put in to draft documents, auditing and other acts on checking/validation which results in significant productivity loss.

To also note, trust that is breeched will also see a significant crack to relations and the crack is close to impossible to mend back. Because an act of credibility loss from a trusted relationship shatters the relationship to shambles and even with years of making up, as long as the thought of a betrayal of trust happened in the previous relationship, the road ahead will be a rough one.
