HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK 127|| SURRENDER COVER

It's the 127th week of the Hive open mic and it has been a really beautiful journey ever since I joined this amazing community and today, I'm making an entry for this week's theme "Tevazu." which means: "Humility-Modesty." This theme was selected by @okayozdemiroglu, a Turkish musician. The theme is a really thoughtful one and I must our spotlight artist for choosing such a great theme.

Humility - modesty is something that cut across so many things in our lives and there are so many ways I could relate this theme to us but I'm choosing a different route from all what I have been seeing and I hope you love it. This week I chose a song by Natalie Taylor titled SURRENDER. In this song, the artist was so calm and cool to send a message of surrendering to her lover. Sometimes we are just so focused on winning all the time and we don't give a damn whether the next person is hurting or not.

The song sends a message of how we can just be humble sometimes and accept defeats just to make sure we don't lose the ones we love unlike in the business world, we don't worry about it at all but when it comes to the ones we love, we are willing to give all we can just to make sure we don't lose them, we surrender to them.

This is my own interpretation of this song in relation to the theme of this week and I really do hope you could relate well with it. Well, I will say this is not the best I can do but I hope you get the message from my rendition. I always believe that every music has messages that it sends to its listeners and the message I want you to perceive from this song today is the one you have just read.

Humildad: la modestia es algo que atraviesa muchas cosas en nuestras vidas y hay muchas maneras en que podría relacionarnos con este tema, pero estoy eligiendo una ruta diferente a todo lo que he estado viendo y espero que les guste. Esta semana elegí una canción de Natalie Taylor titulada SURRENDER. En esta canción, la artista se mostró tan tranquila y fresca para enviar un mensaje de entrega a su amado. A veces estamos tan concentrados en ganar todo el tiempo y no nos importa si la siguiente persona está sufriendo o no.

La canción envía un mensaje de cómo podemos ser humildes a veces y aceptar las derrotas solo para asegurarnos de no perder a los que amamos, a diferencia del mundo de los negocios, no nos preocupamos por eso en absoluto, pero cuando se trata de la los que amamos, estamos dispuestos a dar todo lo que podamos solo para asegurarnos de no perderlos, nos rendimos a ellos.

Esta es mi propia interpretación de esta canción en relación con el tema de esta semana y realmente espero que puedan relacionarse bien con ella. Bueno, diré que esto no es lo mejor que puedo hacer, pero espero que recibas el mensaje de mi interpretación. Siempre he creído que toda música tiene mensajes que envía a sus oyentes y el mensaje que quiero que percibas de esta canción hoy es el que acabas de leer.
