TRAVELING MEMORIES

Traveling has always been something I enjoy doing especially with a friend (s) or a family member (s). Despite how stressful it can be to move from one place to another, I always still get excited to know I'd be traveling to somewhere especially to a place I haven't been to before or in a long time. There are different reasons why I enjoy traveling but one of the main reasons is because I just love exploring.

Getting to see how different people think and act differently is quite fascinating and that's one thing that comes with visiting different places. For someone like me, I have a kind of family that I find almost every where around the world, so it's always a pleasure to visit anywhere because I mostly don't have to worry about getting along well there as long as I have my family there.

Recently I visited my friend in the capital of my State and on the first Sunday of my visit when we went for worship I was introduced as a visitor at the congregation and you needed to see how welcoming they were towards me. Most of them were more concerned of how long I planned staying because they didn't want me to leave so soon. I did stayed for a month which was quite longer than I expected but that was due to some unavoidable circumstances.

After the service that Sunday, we bought a cake from a sister who makes them and it was so nice and soft. My sister wanted to get another one but sadly it was already finished. We wished we had bought two the first time but since we weren't sure if it was a cake we would enjoy, we had to thread with care. I had to ask my sister to hold the cake so I snap it and keep the memory of it, hehe.

Staying at that place was quite fun and exciting because I learned how to do quite a few things better and I also got to meet new people and made more friends. When I was returning back I actually came back with the church to my state because one of us had a marriage ceremony close to where I live so I didn't spend a dime traveling back and I got all the company anyone would ever ask for when traveling.

There was this particular lady that I sat close with, she was a whole new character for me because she was so sweet and annoying at the same time, lol. She made the journey really lively for all of us but then at some point I wished she would just let us rest from her talking but they were quite entertaining and educative so I appreciated it.

I was once reminded that it can also be fun traveling with a full squad but then sometimes it's just better to have your own space too, hehe. So which is it for you? Do you prefer traveling with people you know or you'd rather go Solo? Do leave your comments below.
