SUNSET SERENADE- AN UNPLANNED EVENING WALK
It was hot and sunny that day, I really didn’t had any reason to go out but sadly, before the day could finally fold up, I had a need that required me to step out of the house. You know, living in a student environment can be difficult sometimes, especially when it comes to having good power outputs. During the previous day, we didn’t get any power output but then I had my power banks and I wasn’t so worried until the next day. It was already evening and I knew I had to act quickly or else I won’t have my devices on the next day.
Before now, my phone charger has been acting weird and I had plans of getting a new one. So, that day just felt like the perfect day to get a new one. I called the vendor that I had previously bargained with and he told me I could come if I was ready. I used that opportunity to get my devices charged, hehe. It was a big saving grace for me and I was so happy that I had fun on my way going to his shop.
While I was walking down to his shop which was about 8-10km away from my hostel, my eyes couldn’t resist the sunset effects in the clouds and as it changes with almost every distance I moved, so I made sure to take some good pictures of it. It was evening so a lot of students were on their way back home.
Looking at the images, I kept wondering how they would look if I added some edits to them and they were so cool but then, I had to reduce them a little because I wanted to still maintain something closer to the original view. With subsequent time, I will add some good edits when I want to make use of them on some of my other blogs.
I took quite a lot of shots and now I’m not even sure which is my favorite because they are all images related to the cloud and sunset. I feel they all give their own unique perspective and to me, they are all nice.
I hardly ever go on evening walks but I was happy I got the opportunity to leave the house at that time to get my devices charged. I had so many hesitations but I’m happy I didn’t yield to them.
For real, I do wonder what an evening walk would feel like without the sunset and the cool breeze. It’s mostly refreshing and relaxing. After that walk, I was tempted a few times to try it again intentionally but then, as a student, I always prefer using that time to rest because I most times have a busy day ahead. But then, I believe that is why those few evening walks always feels special and worthwhile.
So tell me, if you were to pick one of these photos to add to your gallery, which one would it be? Feel free to share it with me in the comments.
Thanks for stopping by ❤️.
These are nice shots.
Thanks Amie. 🥰
I love the edited version of the last one. It has a unique feel to it. It's like a picture one would take on an adventure trip. I love that one
