PONZI SCHEMES ARE REAL - SOME WAYS TO IDENTIFY THEM

Have you ever fallen for them before? I'm sure you have, oh wait! I was referring to ponzi schemes. Well I've been a victim quite some number of time and I know how it felt, it wasn't the best feeling and I know you will agree with me if you have ever fallen prey to their scheme. There has been a lot of cases of this when a lot of persons have lost all of their life savings all because they want to double the amount they already have. They come in different forms and sometimes they look so real but then it is always too good to be true.

Despite the fact that we have fallen for these tricks a lot of time, people are still going to be victim of it even in the near future to come. It is true that at first some of these ponzi schemes pay off but then that is also one of their major schemes to get the real preys involved. A lot of people always say they won't ever fall prey for their schemes but then the moment they see some people cash out from such schemes, they will quickly reconsider and even end up putting more than they should have and in the end they loose everything.

There are quite a lot of ways to know these ponzi schemes and I would be sharing a few with you today and I'd also appreciate more contribution from you as well for others to learn from so we can save ourselves from these people. Because the truth is that some people might be in the situation even now.

A given link

Most of these ponzi schemes have links they normally share with people and then ask them to share in other to refer others and most if these links can be spotted as fake once you notice that it is in this format http://wn.nr/c3WXEUE. As most of us know, this link is supposed to be like this https://wn.nr/c3WXEU and not the initial format. So one of the easiest ways to spot a ponzi scheme is through the links the share to you. Although now, some of these ponzi schemes have put in more effort to make it look even more real through the links but then it's good to know that it is fake once it's showing http instead of https.

Referrer benefits

This is another way to spot ponzi schemes. Of course not all referrer benefits are ponzi schemes but then once it's a criteria to going forward then there is a problem because it's a way for them to get more people involved in getting scammed. So one thing that can help you know if it is ponzi scheme or not is the emphasis on referring others, once it's a criteria to moving forward, then you should be at alert.

Money requirements

This is a huge turn off, well, it should be. If you are ever told of a business or something that you are required to bring a certain amount of money so you can get it back in double or triple, then you should know that it is a ponzi scheme. Also let's say the ponzi scheme was really good and you could not tell at first and then you put in some cash and then you were asked for more money so you can get even higher benefits then at this point it is obvious that it is a ponzi scheme.

There are a lot of things to know these ponzi schemes and these are few that I want us to be aware of these schemes so we don't end up losing even more than we already have and for those who are yet to have an experience, this is a good opportunity to get a little knowledge about them and avoid them as best as you can. And I will also love you to leave your contributions like I said earlier so others can learn from you too.

Until next time, stay AWESOME and JIGGY!!!

I think the vast majority have been through a scam; it happened to me in my early days, and it served as an experience to avoid them and to be able to differentiate between a scam and a reliable business precisely because, as it says in your post, the ability to identify these schemes is essential to protect our assets.

In my experience, I believe that if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Also, transparency is key in any investment; if a company or individual is reluctant to share information or details about how their "opportunity" works, it's a red flag.

Thank you, @hopestylist, for lighting this topic and equipping us as readers with the knowledge; occasionally, it's necessary to refresh these issues and alert newbies.

I think if I enter Facebook, a lot of Ponzi schemes are available there and I know that 99.95% are fake. In the past, I have seen many and I also became a victim of it maybe 2 times and now I am alert. It's a life lesson for me and I will share about those some days.

@hopestylist, thanks for this eye-opening. From now on, I will keep my eye open to detect which is scam and which is not like the difference between http and https.

Some know it is scam but greed is the problem of many. Some network marketing businesses are also scam. They make you work and bring people to be under you but at the end, only the top lat the leaderboard benefit. Thanks for sharing this dear.

That's right, the major problem is greed but then sometimes it's ignorance and that's my aim of this post.

Thank you so much for your contribution ma'am, I'm so glad to have you stop by 🤗

It's a shame that people still fall for these things. Truth is they know it's a scam but they'd rather give it a try than spend the money😂...
Thanks for the tip about http// and https//

That's right but some of them can be looking really so true on the outside though but then there is always a flaw.

It's my pleasure Sharing a few with you all 🥰.
