MY FUTURE FAMILY

At first glance, I didn’t see this topic as the one I’d be going with but after reading it for the second time, it just felt perfect! There are so many things I want to be a reality at the moment and this topic suggestion is just what I need to at least live in the moment. Drawing is something I admire a lot and it is a great privilege to get to draw something that would come to reality, so please stay with me as I take you through this journey of what I’d be drawing.

So in response to the prompt, the one thing that came to my mind to draw was my future family, basically Family! The family I want to build and live with for the rest of my life. Right from when I was a little girl, I’ve always dreamt of having a family that I’d dedicate most of my time if not all of my time nurturing. My biggest and greatest prayer has always been getting married to the best man (the one I’d make the best partner ever with God helping me). I have great expectations from the one I would build a family with but I’m also willing to give it my best to make sure it turns out well from my end too.

First thing you’d see in my drawing? it has to be my Man, hehe. Oh, by the way, my drawing will be in series so it will serve as a memory for myself and everyone inside it. The next thing you will see in that drawing will be my pregnant self and my husband, hehe. And then, a drawing of us and our first child. Then just imagine our parents behind us too because they are definitely going to be there (that’s my prayer 🥹). And then, another drawing of the whole family, both nuclear and extended celebrating my 5th anniversary which will also be the birthday of my last child, hehe.

Oh! Imagination want to finish me oo, lol. Well, there you have it! If I’m going to draw anything that would come to pass it has to be my future family, not just one single drawing but it has to be in series. I’m drawing a family because I love family and it is the only thing that lasts forever as long as one is alive. And besides that’s my dream so what else can I ask for than for a good family?! I know how much it means to have a good family so it’s my dream to also build one and letting the circle grow bigger.

Living with the right people is just one of the most easiest ways to survive whatever situation anyone might face. I wish to build a haven, which is Family so that’s why I’m drawing one in response to the prompt.
