MY CORNROW CREATION

As an hairstylist, it’s always nice when I get the opportunity to make someone look beautiful, I mean, just looking at the outcome puts a smile on my face. Lately I have been holding back from making hair do for people because I know how much time it takes me to get some styles done and when I weigh it with the time I need to give to other things, it is mostly not a good idea to give my time to it but then, I wish it was something I can do more often because I know that is how I can keep getting better at it.

Well, that is one major reason I love holidays, holidays gives me the opportunity to show my creativeness when it comes to making hair do. Sometimes people find it hard to believe that I’m good at making hairstyles because they don’t see me do it often so they just assume that I’m a beginner, lol. Well, for now I’m comfortable with it because I can’t prove them wrong. I’m a struggling student so I know adding making of hair to my list will only make life harder for myself and I don’t want that.

Anyways, I’m happy that I get to make hair do for people once in a while especially during holidays. For my last holiday, my sister asked me to make an all back weaving cornrow for her so she could use it to wear her wig and also something she could use when she doesn’t want to put on her wig. And then, I decided to make a simple but classy cornrow for her. She has quite a dry scalp but it didn’t stop the hair from glowing, hehe.

I parted the hair into two equal halves because of the style I had in mind. I did that because I wanted to make it neat and equal, but unfortunately, I still made some mistakes, lol. Anyways, I was able to finish the first part and when it was time for me to start the second part, I was a bit confused because of the mistake I made but then, I somehow was able to figure a way out.

I spent less than an hour making this hair and I’m glad I did because my sister was pregnant and I didn’t want to stress her too much. In the end, she loved the style that she didn’t even want to wear the wig on it anymore, lol.

As for the mistake I made with the cornrow, it is mostly a common mistake but then, it is something that require some good practice and calculation. Over time you can get use to avoiding that mistake. Well, I do hope you like the style and feel free to try it for yourself too, especially if you put on wigs. This style helps your wig to stay smooth on your head and balanced too.
