MARKET FOOD SHENANIGANS
Have you ever been so hungry to the point when you'd see a dog and argue it's a rabbit? Not that it's what you wanted but then it seems like your brain just stopped working or something. Well, I'm glad that wasn't my case. I have an experience I want to share with you and I'm very sure it will make you laugh away your sorrows but I fear it might make you laugh in your sorrows if you didn't have any but let's hope you have sorrows? Hehe
Don't mind me, I'm not just really good at making people laugh, all I do is I beg them to laugh after I finish saying a joke, that strategy is always more effective, hehe. So like I said, I have an experience I'd like to share about what hungry did to me, till tomorrow I still can't stop smiling whenever I think about it, actually I laugh at myself.
There was this faithful day when I had to go to the market with my friend to help her mum get something for her shop. I just came back from school then and I didn't really had anything to eat yet but I had the thoughts of getting something in the market because I already knew I'd be going to the market. I enjoyed buying lunch at the market because it's way cheaper and I get to choose from a wide variety.
Since we were still minors, my friend's mum gave us a list of the things she wanted us to get from the market and she entrusted the list to me because she knew I was the most careful one out of the two careless people she was sending to the market. The market was not so far from the shop, it was like 15 minutes walk so we walked down. I enjoy walking a lot but that's because I like saving more money so I can get some little chops, hehe. Here in Nigeria we call that buy buy, hehe.
The funny thing about walking down to the market was that instead of getting to the market within that 15 minutes or less, we got there late because we will stop by every place that interests us (actually that's another reason why we enjoy walking instead of taking a cab or something). We finally got to the market and I saw what I wanted for lunch, I bought rice and meat for both of us because it's not nice to be eating alone when you have company.
All this while, the list of items was in my hand and I kind of forgot I was holding it. I finished eating my food and since it was in a nylon I folded it so I can throw it away. Normally I'd throw it on the ground but somehow I just felt like being a good citizen and keep my environment clean. Just before we will get to where we wanted to get all that we needed, I saw a trash can and quickly throw away the nylon that was in my hand.
We finally arrived at our destination because we had a particular shop we normally get most things we needed. We started picking up the things we were asked to get until it got to the point when we were forgetting some things that were written on the list. I then realized that we had brought a list which I was holding. On looking my hand, I realized the nylon was still in my hand and that means only one thing, I had thrown away the list of items, hahaha.
Because I was so happy that I was never longer hungry, I didn't care what I was putting in the trash. Funny enough I had also throw away the change I got from the food I bought. Thank God the trash was not so far away, I just went there in shame to pick it up and that was how we were able to get everything that was needed. Ever since I had that experience, I've always been conscious of what was in my hand and always make sure to cross-check what I throw away.
I actually tried to hide the fact that I threw away the list and my money from my friend but she caught me red handed because she remembered seeing me throw something away, hehe. She laughed me though but not so much because I had to put on some crazy act to make her forget what happened, lol. But now I still remember such experience and laugh at myself, hehe.
So do you have any experience like this too, do well to share it with me, it would be nice to give you a response and laugh when needed, hehe.
Until next time, stay AWESOME and JIGGY!!!

Lol y'all were so focused on sightseeing you weren't focused on the real mission. Lucky you it wasn't thrown on the ground for the wind to carry away
It's all because of God, on a normal day the me that I know would have thrown away that stuff on the floor 😬
😂😂. I had the experience ma'am. It was Long ago. Recently, my elder sis did the same. She threw 1k in the dust bin, and accused her children of misplacing what she had in her purse. I knew her well for her forgetfulness, so I went straight to the bin and saw the folded millions (this period is ....) 😂😂😂😂😂😂....
It happens. Well.
Your beauty still dey choke me ma. At least, this is natural today, so bring another excuse....😂😂
Hahaha, mothers are the worst in that aspect and just like your sister, they will never want to take the fall for their mistakes, the children will most times suffer for it.
Hehe, thank you for the compliment sir
Actually, she's a mother too. Until she found the money, she never believed it was her fault. 😂
You are very much welcome ma lady..
Yeah I read that 😂
