LETTING IT GO!

Reducing stress can prove to be hard sometimes due to how busy life can get sometimes but then somehow I still find my way around it and so far so good it's been going quite well. Naturally, no human likes stress, it's just the conditions of life that make one seem like they are living a luxury in a stressful life. Somehow I've grown kind of immune to knowing when the stress is too much on me due to how much I had to stress myself at one point in my life.

Basically I just enjoy helping out so that made me very curious about a lot of things and I just had to learn how to bear others burden and doing so hasn't been easy but it has been really fulfilling. I might feel so exhausted or tired but once there is someone in need of my help with something I'm capable of, I hardly ever want to say no because it's another opportunity that if I miss someone else will grab it.

But then, I do know that I have to still take good care of myself if I want to keep being useful to myself and others so I do need to rest! And I have really simple ways I employ to give my body the rest that it needs. They look so normal and little but then they do the magic so well.

One of the things I don't joke with to help me reduce stress was/is my sleeping. Not until some months ago, sleeping has been one of the best and most effective way of reducing my stressful self. It works so well because whenever we are asleep, literally every part of our body get to feel relieved when we wake up. Like it's just different how your mind and body works after taking a good nap. So getting a good sleep helps reduce stress and surprisingly also helps you work more effectively.

Going for a walk also helps me reduce stress. Not just any kind of walk but a walk without any thing in mind to achieve. Just standing up from your bed or couch and going out to see people, scenarios and the sky. Doing these things helps clear your mind off unnecessary thoughts and that automatically reduces the stress you are going through to a great extent.

Another thing I do to reduce my stress is singing or listening to music. Most times when I'm so stressed and I can't sleep or go for a walk, I just start singing if I have the strength or better still I just settle to listen to good music from my playlist and that helps me feel better and think less about whatever is happening around me.

To reduce my stress, I also love taking more water or take a cool bath. Water helps your blood flow well and it helps you breathe better. Taking water might not be so much but it helps in it's own little way and I always try to make use of it whenever I'm feeling stressed.

Finally, I love eating something sweet when I'm stressed. Most times I go for a chilled drink while other times I go for food, or for snacks or pastries. When you eat something you enjoy that alone gives you an assurance that better days are ahead 😂. Food is a basic necessity for living so it definitely helps reduce stress to an extent. If not for anything, you just need to eat just to make sure it's not hunger that is stressing you, hehe.

These are just few things I do to reduce my stress and you can give them a try to see what works for you.

Rest from stress is vital to help you become productivity to others despite your willingness and readiness to help others.

I love sleep after stress and walks without distractions help a lot

Hehe, why don't you take something sweet? Or you do but it's not part of what helps you reduce stress? Well, it's food in general I was referring to, hehe.

Of course, come and steal it and get arrested 😂

These are practical for reducing stress. Thanks for sharing with us. But for me, I don't think listening to music can help me reduce stress, my playlist is Billie Eilish 💔😂
