DON'T GET ME WRONG

Have you ever been in a situation where you gave one answer to two different questions before? Well, I'm sure you might have, but come and read about my own experience. It all started one morning when I was cleaning the shop and my elder brother (not really, I just chose to call him that) came to join me there and we were discussing about random things.

He was telling me a story of a girl who had a crush on him and stuffs like that, the girl was just a sweet sixteen but yet she was so much in love with my brother and was willing to do anything for him, you can imagine, while her mates are looking for ways to learn a skill or something, she is here confessing her feelings to a guy who is already in a serious relationship, it is well. My brother just used that opportunity to start lecturing me on relationship matters as if I'm the girl and I was just nodding my head but the truth is I was no longer following the gist because I was trying to attend to a customer who came to buy something and was also trying to engage me in a conversation.

My brother was in the other shop trying to arrange some things there so he didn't notice that I was no longer following his conversation. While I was in the other shop attending to the customer who has refused to end the conversation, I guess he was surprised to see a beautiful girl like me or something, lolz. He was trying to ask me for my contact and also asking me if I was in a relationship.

At this point my brother already said a lot and he came out to ask me about my sister while I was still attending to the customer and I said yes because the customer asked a question, little did I know my brother was also asking me a yes or no question and he thought I was giving that answer to him. Ah! He exclaimed because he saw that I was laughing after saying yes and he was a bit surprised. You mean Amanda is inside the shop? He asked me in a very low tone looking so worried but the next thing that came out from my mouth was, Amanda! (because I was lost).

My brother was like, I asked you if Amanda was in shop and you said yes, why didn't you tell me that since I came? So you mean she heard all the things I've been saying? At this point I knew there was a misunderstanding somewhere so I told him Amanda was not in the shop and he gave a very deep sigh of relief. After much explanation, I discovered he had said some things that Amanda who was his girlfriend was not supposed to hear and that was why he was worried, guilty conscience, hehe.

You know, don't blame my brother, he was just worried of sitting his flesh out because Amanda was a very hot headed girl, she doesn't take things lightly especially something that has to do with a girl going close to her boyfriend, lolz. He knew the questions was not going to end that day if she had heard anything. She just hate the thought of her boyfriend saying anything about any girl because she knows her boyfriend was a very handsome fellow, she doesn't want stories.

Since that day, whenever my brother comes around, he always check around to be sure she wasn't around before saying anything to me, hehe, yes he trust me that much to tell me such things. My brother likes talking so he likes confiding in me because he knows I'm not the one to go around telling people things. And again he was scared of his girlfriend because he doesn't want too much questioning. If he was to tell her anything of sure, the conversation will be like...

Boy: I was walking pass the gym center when a girl came to me and...
Girl : And what?...
Boy : wait I'm still yet to conclude what I was saying
Girl : So, did you not stop when she came to you? I know you did...

Yeah, that's pretty much how the conversation is going to go because everything will seem as a threat to her. I know some of you can relate very well with this because it's very common especially here in my country.
