BRIDGING THE GAP THROUGH COMMUNICATION (ENG/ESP)

Communication is one of the easiest ways to settle a dispute and build a good community. Most times I feel people take it for granted and they just underrate it's importance in any relationship. There are so many things going on in our world today and most of them were caused due to lack of communication or miscommunication. It's always a beautiful thing to interact with someone and the person shows interest in what you are saying and gives a positive response to it but then when there is poor communication between people, it's hard to share some anything among themselves.

As humans, we always love to be heard, we want our voices to be heard whenever we have something to say but sadly that hardly happens because there is no good channel of communication among ourselves. When people interact with themselves frequently, it's hard to pull them apart because communication fosters togetherness and it breeds understanding among people. The more we understand ourselves the less we feel insecure. Our world is facing a lot of chaos today and so many people are beginning to loss hope of a better tomorrow.

The thing is, there are so many things that we can do to change what we see around us but then we just feel it's a lot easier to flow with what is more accepted and that's how we let so many things happen. I remember when I first started writing on the Hive Blockchain, I realized there were different people from all over the world. They all had different environment, different languages, different upbringing, different cultures, different religions and so much more but then there were so many communities on Hive that made room for everyone to feel welcomed.

I got to know about some communities that had other languages other than English language but I bonded more with the Spanish users here because they were really welcoming and that made me had an interest in learning the Spanish language. At first I didn't know where to start from but then I knew I was going to learn it somehow. Since I enjoyed engaging on the contents of other users, that helped me a lot as I got to learn of an application where I can learn any language of my choice.

I quickly downloaded the app and I registered to learn how to speak Spanish. So far, I've learnt how to say some things in Spanish and sometimes I don't even have to go to Google translate before I guess what a person is trying to say to me in Spanish. It's really interesting and fun learning Spanish and I look forward to a day when I will become quite fluent in it. Then I can communicate better with my Spanish friends here on Hive. That way I believe it will help me have a more smooth communication with them.

I also plan on learning a few other languages if time permits me because I believe language is one of the greatest barrier between people and bridging the gap will help us in so many ways. But this might be a problem because every one wants their language to be the most spoken and that is a major set back in fostering peace and unity among ourselves. Well, it's a good thing most countries are beginning to accept English as an official language, that way we all will be able to communicate even better among ourselves.

We should always remember that the best way to leave at peace with ourselves is through communication, we need to hear ourselves out and iron things out. Careless assumptions can cause us a whole lot so we have to always try our best as much as we can to be good listeners and avoid drawing conclusions without hearing from both parties.

La comunicación es una de las formas más fáciles de resolver una disputa y construir una buena comunidad. La mayoría de las veces siento que la gente lo da por sentado y simplemente subestiman su importancia en cualquier relación. Están sucediendo muchas cosas en nuestro mundo hoy y la mayoría de ellas se deben a la falta de comunicación o a la falta de comunicación. Siempre es hermoso interactuar con alguien y la persona muestra interés en lo que estás diciendo y da una respuesta positiva, pero cuando hay mala comunicación entre las personas, es difícil compartir algo entre ellos.

Como seres humanos, siempre nos encanta que nos escuchen, queremos que nuestras voces sean escuchadas cada vez que tenemos algo que decir, pero lamentablemente eso rara vez sucede porque no existe un buen canal de comunicación entre nosotros. Cuando las personas interactúan consigo mismas con frecuencia, es difícil separarlas porque la comunicación fomenta la unión y genera comprensión entre las personas. Cuanto más nos entendemos a nosotros mismos, menos inseguros nos sentimos. Nuestro mundo se enfrenta hoy a un gran caos y muchas personas están empezando a perder la esperanza de un mañana mejor.

La cuestión es que hay tantas cosas que podemos hacer para cambiar lo que vemos a nuestro alrededor, pero luego sentimos que es mucho más fácil fluir con lo que es más aceptado y así es como dejamos que sucedan tantas cosas. Recuerdo que cuando comencé a escribir en Hive Blockchain, me di cuenta de que había diferentes personas de todo el mundo. Todos tenían entornos diferentes, idiomas diferentes, educación diferente, culturas diferentes, religiones diferentes y mucho más, pero había tantas comunidades en Hive que dejaban espacio para que todos se sintieran bienvenidos.

Conocí algunas comunidades que tenían otros idiomas además del inglés, pero me vinculé más con los usuarios de español aquí porque eran muy acogedores y eso hizo que me interesara aprender el idioma español. Al principio no sabía por dónde empezar, pero luego supe que iba a aprenderlo de alguna manera. Como disfruté participando en los contenidos de otros usuarios, eso me ayudó mucho ya que conocí una aplicación donde puedo aprender cualquier idioma de mi elección.

Descargué rápidamente la aplicación y me registré para aprender a hablar español. Hasta ahora, he aprendido a decir algunas cosas en español y, a veces, ni siquiera tengo que ir al traductor de Google antes de adivinar lo que una persona intenta decirme en español. Es realmente interesante y divertido aprender español y espero con ansias que llegue el día en que lo hable con bastante fluidez. Entonces podré comunicarme mejor con mis amigos españoles aquí en Hive. De esa manera creo que me ayudará a tener una comunicación más fluida con ellos.

También planeo aprender algunos otros idiomas si el tiempo me lo permite porque creo que el idioma es una de las mayores barreras entre las personas y cerrar la brecha nos ayudará de muchas maneras. Pero esto podría ser un problema porque todos quieren que su idioma sea el más hablado y eso es un gran retroceso en el fomento de la paz y la unidad entre nosotros. Bueno, es bueno que la mayoría de los países estén empezando a aceptar el inglés como idioma oficial, de esa manera todos podremos comunicarnos aún mejor entre nosotros.

Siempre debemos recordar que la mejor manera de salir en paz con nosotros mismos es a través de la comunicación, necesitamos escucharnos y arreglar las cosas. Las suposiciones descuidadas pueden causarnos mucho, por lo que siempre debemos hacer nuestro mejor esfuerzo para ser buenos oyentes y evitar sacar conclusiones sin escuchar a ambas partes.
