BEING USEFUL TO THOSE I LOVE
Lately I've been engaging in a lot of movements that I least expected to be a part of. I just keep feeling that my life is wired in such a way that I can't even fathom completely. All my life, I've always loved traveling especially with family or friends. I just like being around people all the time and if possible be part of the reasons why they are happy.
After my friend's marriage ceremony, everywhere became so quiet and it felt empty again. Of course her parents are going to miss her so much because now they can't get to see her as much as they want to, she's now a married woman, hehe. I had to stay with them for a day and help them do most of the cleaning in the house because it wasn't going to be easy for them since they aren't getting any younger.
I'm already like a family to them so they are definitely going to miss me too now that I've left them too. I had to follow my friend to her new home because she also needs someone to help her out in settling down and I just had to come help her out since I'm the only one she can ask for such favor. Helping people just gives me a sort of assurance that I at least have a good purpose being alive and that's why I always like trying to do the least I can.
Well, I wasn't so comfortable coming with my friend to her new home because I felt like I'd be disturbing them just with my presence 😂. Good thing I'm not going to stay for long, so they can have their privacy as soon as possible, hehe. I will try as much as I can to finish things up here and leave as soon as I can. They deserve some privacy but I guess my friend really needed me for her to ask me to come with her.
She and her hubby had quite a lot of gift items and we did the packing, thank God her hubby has a car and that made everything really easy for them. It took us 2 hours to get to the house and all we did was unpack the things from the car and keep them somewhere and I just quickly went to prepare something for us to eat because we were famished. It took me about an hour to get the food ready and we ate.
We don't plan arranging the things today, we just want to rest first and then start arranging everything to their rightful places tomorrow. Well, that's not much of a big deal but the weather is not making things any easier for anyone. We have a thorough cleaning to do in the house because everywhere is so dusty and dirty. I just need to get some more rest and wake up as early as possible so I can start working!

You are doing really good to be helping out your friend in her new home. More than the arrangement of the gifts, I guess your friend needs a familiar to talk to while she's in her new home . It's a new territory and setting and she wants a friend to be with her. Cheers
I guess so, she does needs someone to talk to once in a while other than her husband.
Well, I think she will do very well even without me here, she and her husband are friends 🥰

And I know they are even more than happy to have you there to help them.
I know right, but something keeps making me feel a bit uncomfortable with me around them sometimes and I do try my best to give them as much privacy as possible.

I guess you are done with the cleaning and gone back to your place so the newly wedded couples could have their privacy to do the important thing first 🤣🤣
I also would feel uncomfortable staying with someone who I supposed to be having her moment with hubby but since you said she needed you to help with stuff, then it's fine. I wish them a happy home together ❤️
