A REFRESHING HOLIDAY BREAK WITH LOVED ONES

My holiday is slowly coming to an end and I’m really excited about the fact that I decided to go home for the holiday. Spending time with one of my favorite families made my holiday a memorable one. I had really good time with them especially with the baby. Actually, one of the major reasons I decided to visit despite my upcoming exams was because of the baby and I’m happy I got the opportunity to spend ample time with him.

Baby Jesse is a cheerful child and compared to so many children I have spent time with, he is very cool and understanding. Jesse needs just little things to make him happy and that has made life really easy for his mom. My most memorable times with him was when I fed him and help him stay calm so his food won’t come out of his nose and mouth. Because of how playful he is, whenever he is done eating, he is always so happy that he likes playing and that is not good for him because he sometimes end up vomiting because the food is yet to go down. And this happens because he is still a baby.

It took me a day to understand this about him and I always try my best to keep him relaxed for some time and sometimes he even ends up sleeping which is still better. Jesse sleeps for a long time and this is actually really good for him. It has been 2 weeks since I came here but I can see how much he has grown in just this short period of time. He eats well and sleeps well too. He also smiles a lot and it’s always beautiful to watch.

It’s been a while I took care of a baby and I’m so happy I started with a baby like Jesse, he just made me remember the feeling I get being around children. Sometimes when I’m busy on my phone and he is with me, that doesn’t stops him for playing and it took me some time before I realized that he actually likes looking at the image on my phone’s pouch. That also made things even better because whenever I have something to do, I just place my phone in front of him and that was enough to keep him busy.

I took a lot of pictures of him and that is because I don’t know when next I’m going to see him. Tomorrow is when I’m going back to school and I’m already missing them but I have to go. I appreciate the time with them and how much they took care of me. I had enough time to rest, eat, read and also play. For me, it was a good one and I hope that after my exams I can rest some more because I feel drained from a lot of things lately and going back to school is a bit scary but I’m just going to act like it’s nothing because I know it’s nothing.

Hello there, Hopey. I'm glad you spent time with your family, especially the baby. I'm glad you ate well and took a time off school. If anything, I know how things were for you 2 months ago, and I'm glad you enjoyed your holiday to the fullest.
