Young Corn Vegetable Soup for family dinner
People often make gravy soup with various variations, some make it with taste, namely shrimp soup, fish soup, chicken soup, vegetable soup, and also various other flavors. I want to make vegetable soup, which consists of bushels of carrots and baby corn.
Young corn or baby corn commonly referred to as putren is corn that is harvested earlier. The stalks are small and young, not too hard. It's normal for this young corn to be eaten raw and also so that it can be cooked in different ways.
As the name implies, this young corn is harvested earlier so that the sugar content contained in the corn is not much, unlike old corn, this young corn also has a low fat content. Young corn has many benefits and also has lots of vitamins. People also prepare it with different cooking variants, some process it as a complement to rice, it can be sautéed, fried with rice, and many also use it as a vegetable soup.
By eating lots of vegetables, our body will become fit and not get sick easily so many people experience a body that is often sick, meaning that the person does not like to eat vegetables, it can also be caused by other factors. My family really likes vegetables, especially since I have a baby, so I have to often cook vegetables so that their bodies develop and become smarter.
To make this vegetable soup is also not too difficult because the ingredients I need are only found in the shop next door so I'm not too far away to shop for necessities to make lunch for our family and the ingredients are easy to get, you don't have to go to the supermarket first so I cook it with what ingredients are just.
The Ingredients
- 1 carrot
- 1 bushel
- 4 young corn kernels
- One tomato (for sautéing)
- 1 red onion (for sauteing)
- 4 liters of water
- 3 tablespoons of cooking oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of flavoring
- 1 teaspoon of salt
(Ground spices)
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 candlenuts
- Pepper 1 teaspoon
Steps to create
The first step
Cut all the vegetables according to my taste, cutting thinly like this so that the vegetables cook together.
Step Two
Puree the Soup vegetable seasoning, then finely slice the tomatoes and shallots for stir-frying.
Step Three
Add oil to the pan, sauté the tomatoes and shallots until fragrant.
Step Four
Then add the ground spices and let it sit for a while.
Step Five
After that, add the vegetables that have been cleaned together.
Step Six
Stir until evenly until the vegetables are cooked add water.
Step Seven
Then add salt and flavoring to make it more savory.
Step Eight
Stir again when the vegetables are cooked remove and serve.
With this vegetable soup, our family's lunch menu feels more colorful and more flavorful because this vegetable soup contains sweet vegetables, namely bushels of carrots and baby corn which have many benefits and are also very good for our bodies.
