Tutorial on Sewing a Side Pocket Millennial Robe

My daily routine is usually at home, namely sewing, even though my body is not feeling well, I still try hard to finish the customer's clothes. Apart from that, when I receive orders from people, my body still feels healthy, but a few days later I am not feeling well and my head feels dizzy, then I rest for a while and continuing to sew me which is almost finished which the next day will be worn by my customer.

Most home tailors often experience things like mine. But that is indeed the weakness of the tailor, namely that his body is easily sick and also susceptible to various diseases because it is caused by several other factors such as there are tailors who stay up late because of the many stitches, there are those who often get dizzy because their brains come out with creative ideas every day as well as the frequency staring at a sewing machine needle can be one of the main factors in the occurrence of firefly headaches.

Tailors must often eat foods that contain lots of vitamins and nutrients so that their bodies and eyes can be inhibited and protected from disease and shortsightedness. It's very rare that I meet a tailor whose body doesn't get sick easily, of course the whole thing is the same and sewing is one of the most complicated arts and skills I've ever learned. That's why many sewing class students after the end of their study period don't know anything and don't know how to sew because they sew not as easy as imagined. It took about three months for me to be able to sew and even then I was only able to master basic patterns.

Well, here I want to discuss how we process clothes into unique clothes and also how to cut clothes for those who have sleep pockets so here I have 2 and a half meters of cloth because the fabric is quite mediocre so I want to make this shirt. This is the front pattern that I cut like a basic pattern and I cut for the weight pockets to fit the hips so this is how the front pattern looks like.

After that, as a result of cutting the hips, I didn't form a hip pattern. I just cut like a fabric line, namely a rectangle, which is used to make pleats on the hips and make sleeping pockets.

And this is the back pattern that I cut as usual like the basic pattern. I added 1 inch and a half to make the back coupnat. So when I cut the pattern from the back I just took lashes from the shoulder to the hips and from the hips down as usual like the display you see below.

Then this is the pattern for the sleeves that I exaggerated on the sleeves, which is an inch and a half because later I will make wrinkles on the shoulders so I have to exaggerate a few inches to make the shavings and this is the result of cutting the pattern for the sleeves.

This is how I will end up sewing the clothes I just put the perpols on and there are no sleep pockets yet, when I sew, I will put the sleeping bags on.

To sew the sleeping bag I used Vislin cloth to make it a little thicker too so that the sewing method was better as I put it in the following view.

Inside the seam for the sleeping bag inside I placed the fabric to make the pocket 6 by 7.

After that I connected it with the pattern of the front that I had cut at the hips.

Approximately this is the result and I haven't paired it with the pattern on the back, I just connected the pleats of the sleeping bag with the pattern on the front from the hips down.

After everything was ready and also the pleated cloth on the k pocket was ready, so I attached it and joined it with the back and also didn't forget to connect the sleeve pattern as shown below.

Finally, this is the result of my sewing today, I hope it can satisfy my customers. Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope this will be useful for those of you who are going to sew your own clothes at home.

See you by the next post.

Only three months of training for this magical profession? Wow, I don't believe it! You tailors are truly magical, miracle-working creatures. It's amazing to learn this stuff in just three months!
Let me tell you, I really like the clothes you are showing. I have never worn this type of clothes. Maybe it's because I'm short and they would look ridiculous on me, but they're very pretty and practical. 😊
