The First Drop Into My Hive Ocean || My Introductory Post

Hello Hive Community, it’s wonderful to be here among great minds and hands. My gratitude goes to God, my family and @starstrings01 whose friendship is though fresh but he has been a blessing so far. He introduced me to this lovely platform, stood as a backbone and supported me.

This is a golden opportunity towards another phase which I so cherish and will put to good use. Life has presented to me a chance to build myself, network with great minds alike in Hive Community. I ain't gonna waste it.

ABOUT MYSELF

My name is Moyosore Moyaki a.k.a Honeymoon, I was born on the 28th of May some time in the 90's. I am the second and last child of my late mum (rest in peace momma). I hail from Edo state, Nigeria though I was born and bred in Lagos state. I have a supportive older brother. And yes, I am a lady.

A little gist about myself:

I revere God because in HIM are all things made possible. I am a graduate from Michael Otedola College of Primary Education (MOCPED) at Epe, Lagos state. Where I studied Primary Education (PED double major).

I am a black, bold and beautiful lady. A lover of Tech (currently undergoing training on Software development), Comics and a fan of wrestling though I do not engage in any form of activity that may lead to a fight. I can be a peace maker and I can be the exact opposite, no try me. Lol. I am a typical example of who Nigerians call "get-inside" lady, simply put, an introvert. I cherish honesty and detest lies. My favorite color is violet. My hobbies are reading comics, watching wrestling, writing, travelling and learning.

WHY CHOOSE HIVE?

Humans as we are, enjoy belonging to a group consisting of people with similar interests. Enjoying each other's company, interacting, learning from one another and also growing together. Fascinated about a platform which greatly supports and tend different people regardless of their differences or background, grooming them to become better persons piqued my interest.

I joined HIVE so I can fulfill a long lasting thirst and burning urge, share my thoughts with admirable people one way or another, thereby contributing positively to the community at large. Nothing undermining the power of networking with minds alike and at the long run and be a source of motivation to newbies.

HOW I JOINED HIVE

As stated earlier, I was introduced to HIVE by @starstrings01 sometime in August. Prying into a meeting he ended as at that time, I was in search of a content writer. Indicating my interest in becoming one, he presented me with the opportunity to get trained. That’s where HIVE got in the picture.

He told me about this magnificent platform, HIVE, which has been of massive help to him. Aiding his growth and providing him with opportunities to expand his network. After discussing at great length, my interest in it became so solid.

Although he forgot to include me in the next cohort after our discussion, which was held in September (cohort 2), he rectified the situation by inviting me to the training group for the third cohort even before I asked. Awwwn, what a darling!

Thereafter, he guided me on HIVE operations and all it entails as a whole. Awed by the magnificence of such colossal platform, I could barely contain my anticipation becoming a member of the HIVE community. He is my first mentor on HIVE platform.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE HIVE BOOTCAMP

Failure to appreciate the efforts, never-ending support and encouragement from the team leaders of HIVE BOOTCAMP, @starstrings01, @olujay and @monioluwa would be an act of ungratefulness.

I applaud their unwavering effort put in the training which includes the daily profound classes, explanations, providing answers to questions, tests, follow ups and making themselves available and accessible for further interaction.
Taking their time to ensure we understood to a great extent how HIVE block chain system operates.

• Introduction to Hive.
• Knowing your niche and finding the right communities.
• Plagiarism and Sourcing.
• Setting up your Hive account.
• Learning how to format your Post.
• Uploading videos on Hive via 3Speak.

I have learnt a great deal during this training period. And I can not appreciate them enough, most especially for their patience. Kudos guys! Also to all cohort3 participants, it would not have been fun without y'all. It was awesome.

IN CONCLUSION
