With Christmas and the New Year coming up, this will be the last curation for the year as the moderators take a break. So we'll wish you a wonderful few weeks and hope you have a good start to the new year.

This week has been a bit quieter than usual in the community, so I think we're already winding down for a Christmas break. I'll take this opportunity to thank everyone for all your contributions and support to the community throughout the year.

I'm loving these fun ideas from @taliakerch for creativity using old egg cartons. Can you think of other things your children could create from them?



From @ramisey comes a Christmas themed puzzle game, perfect to get us in the mood for the season.



I used to love these moving puzzle games as a child, so thank you @virgilio07 for reminding me of them and demonstrating how to make one at home.



I'll wrap up with this idea from @deisip67 to help improve scissor control and fine motor skills. We probably all know how much children enjoy using scissors, so why not give them some guidance in cutting the right things rather than have them sneakily cutting things they really shouldn't. 😉
