National DIY Day is celebrated on April 2 and the day is about accomplishing tasks independently. D.I.Y. which stands for "Do it yourself," involves creatively taking on tasks typically handled by hired professionals, such as building, decorating, fixing, and renovating.

The Craft Box Girls team created this day to inspire crafters and ignite the creativity of individuals of all ages and genders throughout the country.

Doing your own DIY can save you lots of money, that's for sure.

There are many videos on YT that show you exactly how, we just need to be a little brave and buy the correct tools for the job!
