SPLINTERLANDS Weekly Battle Challenge! Life Sapper!
A sapper — also known as an elite combat engineer — is a combatant skilled in a variety of military engineering duties such as minefield placement or clearing, bridge-building, demolitions, field defenses, and road and airfield construction.
I like life sapper because of its ability to increase its own life when damaging the monster. Only I feel defeated if my enemy uses a void monster.
BATTLE RULES
SUMMONER:
My Monster Line up:
1
Cursed Windeku has a thorn ability making the melee attacks get hurt at the same when they attack my first tank.
2
Harklaw thinking explosive weaponry as the battle rule, the enemy might use melee attack as their tank and this 2nd tank of mine is a defense that might be the best tank for the next.
3
Silent Shi-Va is a stealth attacker. With his sneak ability I get to attack at the back, thinking that the enemy did not defend his back line up, it might end up killing 2 birds in 1 stone.
4
Life Sapper has the life leech ability. In partner with the explosive weaponry, he get a chance to take 2 lives, speaking of hitting 2 birds with one stone.
5
Venari Bonesmith same as the life sapper,I put him in the next to the last because the enemy might use a sneak or snipe attack thus his life leech would make it difficult for the enemy to end him.
6
Haunted Spirit has the healing ability. As the last tank, he is a defender from the sneak attacks and will make it difficult for the enemy to end my team.
ROUND 1
As what I have expected, the enemy used ranged attacks, thus putting Harklaw as the second tank, decreases the chance of the enemy to win. Though they could easily finish my first tank, I am confident they could not penetrate my other monsters.
ROUND 2
On this round, my Cursed Windeku died because of the enemey's first tank same as mine. It adds life to the enemy's Riftwing but because he doesn't have any attacks, having the ability of scavenger doesn't help his team. Luckily, my strategy to put Life Sapper as midtank helped, even Silent Shi-va managed to stay in this round.
ROUND 3
Riftwing was the last man standing, for the enemy. He doesn't have any attacks but my melee monsters have always missed their attacks. Thankfully, I have monsters with magic attacks where they always hit the enemy.
ROUND 4
This round was the last time we see Riftwing because Silent Shi-va did very well in ending the game-winning.
Guess who wins?
Did your strategy work?
Yes, it obviously did.
What will you try differently next time?
I would use it with two sneak attacks other than using two life leeches. Maybe, it would make it easier for me to win.
Do you like LIFE SAPPER? Why or why not?
Yes, his leech ability is what I like most. Though he has low life, his low mana and ability make him very useful. If only I could use him even with other elements. 🤣
