Social Media Challenge! Christmas it is!

Good day everyone! It has been a week again and another blog is to be posted. I am pretty busy and juggling my blogging is quite hard. But then, I would not take this long. I am thankful that my exam for my master's degree has already ended and while waiting for the next enrollment I have time to focus on my Splinterlands.

Now Christmas is near, @xykorlz sent me 25 packs last week to open, and I was lucky enough to have received these packs because of the surprise it has inside.

The first special card that I would like to share with you is...

CORPSE FIEND

Corpse Fiend is a legendary card of the Chaos Legion pack under the death element. When you rent this card in level 1 it is at 4.98 dec at peakmonsters.com. At level four of this card, it has the silencing ability where in it reduces the Magic Attack of all enemy Monsters.

What I like about this card is that when the rule is low mana and health is equally distributed, it is either a great tank or a tremendous back shield.

The next of the best Legendary card, I opened is Chaos Dragon.

Chaos Dragon is under the dragon element. It is a high mana card and best used in high mana battles and with earthquake rule because of its flying ability.

If you rent this card at peakmonsters.com it is around 0.49 dec unlike the Corpse Fiend this one is cheaper.

At level 2, it has a blast ability and at level 3 it has blind ability where all enemy Melee & Ranged attacks have an increased chance of missing their target. But this doesn't affect magic attacks.

The Chaos Realm has preyed upon many a world, opening rifts in time and space to invade the lands and take from its people. When they attacked Praetoria and the Splinterlands, it was first thought that the minions were compelled through the portal for their fear of the dark shade that lurked beyond the gate, the shadowed image of Uul. Eventually though, when the last of the armies stepped through, there came such a prodigious monster that at first, none could believe it was real. A nightmare dragged forth into reality.

If there is another superlative word for best this would describe the next card I got from opening the Chaos Legion Pack.

Grandmaster Rathe

The most unexpected card we could have while opening these 25 packs. If we could have a chance of recording our faces when opening this card. Anyway, I was able to encounter Grandmaster rathe as an enemy first and he was quite difficult to defeat so I tried to copy him and rented a card. A level 1 of this is not quite much, but a level 3 is around 31 dec.

LORE:

Grandmaster Rathe was the son of a blacksmith who taught him all he knew about the art of forging. However, he didn’t share his father’s interest in large weapons and heavy armors; he preferred those that were small and light, like daggers and other blades that could be concealed on one’s person. He also didn’t want to spend his entire life around the forges. They were hot, the hammers were heavy, and the work was hard.

Here is an example of a battle I have using Grandmaster Rathe.

With these rules, I thought of using Grandmaster Rathe thinking that the enemy will use magic in his lineup, I could protect my team even with blast because it the attack will direct to its shield. I used Jared Scar because it is a low mana battle, and his bloodlust ability will give me the advantage to win. I used Celestial Harpy as the there 2 mana remaining and her attack might bring me win.

ROUND 1

The enemy attacked me first so my Jared Scar has removed his shield as well as Celestial Harpy because of the blast ability. Well, I thought my enemy will use magic attacks but they use Tarsa and more of melee and low mana cards. With the enemy's opportunistic Serpentine Spy my back line died at an early round. As my team started to attack, which is Jared Scar only,😄, his one attack finished 2 of the enemy's monster thus making his bloodlust activated giving him a total of 7 melee, 4 speed and 2 shield.

ROUND 2

By this round, Jared Scar attacked first to Serpentine Spy and giving a blast to Tenyii Striker, defeating Serpentine Spy give him another increase to his melee, speed, and shield. By the time Tenyii Striker has attacked, his assault missed.

ROUND 3

This round obviously give the winning crown to my Grandmaster Rathe and Jared Scar.
