Bro Eli's opening Nuggets reminds me of a scripture in the book of Isaiah 30: 21, which says, whenever you wonder off the road wether to the right or to the left, listen you will hear a voice behind you saying this is the road follow it.....

Most time I do ask myself why was David referred to as a man after God's heart, I study the life of David and realise that David is a man that would always run back to God, pleading, enquirying what to do, how, when and where, like he had that consciousness of God's presence in him always, not like he was a completely perfect been but that he always will acknowledge his wrong and run back to God for mercy.

This ought to be our life style daily, because if we think that by our own making we could live right then we're mistaken, the bible says our o we n righteousness is like a filty rag before God, so we only live right by accepting the person of JESUS and living with that consciousness.

Bro Eli said God is never far from us all, he is ever near us, even the book of Isaiah confirms that, Isaiah said that our sins have separated us from God, it is not that his hands are short that he cannot reach out to us, or his ears too heavy that he cannot hear us when we pray (Isaiah 59:1-2)

So if we have wonder off, we should retrace our step, return to our maker to our origin, so God can redirect our steps.

Even from the days of your fathers, ur have gone away from my ordinance and have not kept them, return unto me and I will return unto you, saith the lord of host, but he said were in shall we return... Malachi 3:7

If you observe the scripture, you understand that God never left us, we left, now God says to us if we return to him, he will return to us and will receive us back, remember Jesus made a parable about this in Luke 15:11-32 about the prodigal son, who returned home after spending all of his father's money, yet his father recieved him back and made a big feast for him.

God is just and faithful to recieve us back as a loving father that he is, but most times our guit and shame seems to withhold us back from returning to God, know this God is not mad at you anymore, he loves you and is patiently waiting for you.
