Is Praying ENOUGH To Get Us Closer To God?....#TopicReview!....

It is not only sufficient to just pray, but Act, accordingly, then you seek, you do not just ask, but work, because God expects us to work and not to be lazy, "Ask and Act", That is the teaching of the bible....Bro. Eli Soriano

I was intending to make a post about this, before coming across Bro Eli's teachings which has also helped me, understood a lot as to why believers are very unproductive in the society, most Christians because of our believe, and faith we rely on it so much praying fasting so that things will work well.

Instead of an average christians to go out and find something meaning ful and productive to do, they prefer to just rely ON God all day, hoping things will workout perfectly well, Does God promotes laziness?, in James 2:14-26 narrates to us the place of faith and work.

Bro Eli gave an instance that if a believer prays for a house is she or he expecting a house to drop from the sky?.....but ratther they should go look for a job, work, engage with something, get paid, save up and then they can get the house they wanted, God does not promote laziness, he wants us to work with our hands...

If we have Faith and no work it is sure as dead, and God is not pleased, in our world today you find believers lacking behind in so many sectors, why? Because we have a very big and mighty God that can do anything for us, so does that mean we should fold our hands and do nothing?....absolutely no!...

Praying alone will not get us closer to God, but when we "Ask, Act, seek, Knock, then we will recieve" this is the teaching of the bible.
