1st Post: Interschool Competition

If you can spell your name without meaning an error thank your teachers.

The Christian Fellowship schools interschool competition was held on the 9th of July, 2022. This competition was held at the large church auditorium located at Christian Fellowship School, IBB way, Uyo.

The three Christian Fellowship schools that were involved in the competition were: Christian Fellowship School Idoro, Christian Fellowship School Umoren, Christian Fellowship School IBB.

On this beautiful day, the hall was filled with stars from different galaxies, coming to show how bright they really are.

The categories for the competition were creative art exhibition, debating and a mathematics competition. I'll begin with mouth opening art exhibition I saw from the different schools.

Jeez! It was truly flabbergasting. Forgive me if my use of words don't really give you the exact picture but you have to believe what I saw. It might interest you to know that I saw a helicopter made of paper. I don't mean a carved stuff, I mean a jet with rotor blades which kept spinning to slice the air.

Seeing this dropped my jaws completely. Just when I thought I had seen enough, I saw a well crafted and structured storey building made out of a carton.

To add to that, the pupils from Christian Fellowship Umoren crafted a lorry using the a carton. Believe me the lorry was not a jalopy, but it was uniquely crafted with so much finesse.

The fascinating part of this art exhibition is that these pupils didn't just present their artwork vaguely, but they were able to eloquently give a detailed narration on how they designed the artworks.

This art exhibition brought different camera light from many parents and staff present in the occasion.

Straight on to the next item on the list was the mathematics competition. This very competition required a lot of speed and accuracy.

This mathematical skills were so smart and sharp! More problems were solved correctly than incorrectly.

I bet that Christian Fellowship schools are about to produce the next Albert Einstein.

Moving on to my favorite part of the competition, the debate competition. The school debated on the motion, farmers are more important than the teachers. The fascinating points I got threw me off myself.

An interesting point I got was that without farmers labouring in the farm, how would they even have the energy to stand in front of their pupils. Gosh! That was a mind-blowing point. Literally, the debate got to the point where I couldn't agree more on the give motion. With the eloquence I perceived that day, I feel that in those pupils, Martin Luther king and Nelson Mandela came almost fully made.

Finally, it was time for the announcement of results and presentation of awards.

There was jauntiness in the heart of all to know the category they succeeded in.

The overall winner of the art exhibition competition was the Christian Fellowship IBB! I knew that helicopter was not going to be overlooked because that was a talent of talents.

Other awards were presented with unbiased decisions by the judges.

All excellent performances attracted a raucous round of applause from the audience.

In all, we give God all the glory for seeing us through a successful competition and I pray for more grace and strength to the elbows of teachers so that they can consistently produce inimitable and intelligent leaders of tomorrow.

For in all dimensions, Christian Fellowship Schools have proven their "knowledge for freedom."
