HivePayments - Poposal Review - Open Source + Actual State + Proposal Goals
As we have submitted our funding proposal for this year, we are committed to bringing various projects to the HIVE community.
In this series of posts, we will be discussing each point of the proposal, including an overview of the projects, open source code, goals, current state, and future plans. While some of our projects will have private branding to make them economically sustainable and not a burden on the HIVE community,
we will of course still make the software open source for other developers to use and build upon. In this way, we hope to contribute to the growth and success of the HIVE ecosystem.

Overview
Hivepayments is a revolutionary payment gateway that is divided into two major products. The first is a payment gateway for physical stores, which is a simple mobile app that allows merchants to accept payments in Hive.
With Hivepayments, merchants can quickly and easily calculate the amount of Hive required for a sale, generate a QR code for the transaction, and accept payment directly from their customers.
The second product is a payment gateway for e-commerce, games, and dApps. This payment gateway is designed to be seamlessly integrated into existing applications, allowing developers to accept payments in Hive without the need for complicated or time-consuming setup processes.
With Hivepayments, users can choose which tokens they want to pay with, and developers can easily configure the payment gateway to accept multiple tokens, making it an ideal solution for the growing ecosystem of tokens on the Hive blockchain.

Actual State Of The Project
Regarding the app, we have a functional APK for Android that's working flawlessly. Users can make transactions, create regular contacts, and create QRs using pricing in USD, which the app automatically converts to hive, hbd or swap.hive based on the current market price. The app also has the function to read QRs and make payments.
We're excited to announce that we're going to upload the app to the Google Play store soon, which will allow more users to access it and start using it. We're first pushing some updates before launching it
As for the payment gateway for e-commerce, it's already deployed on our game Infernal Coliseum, where it's being tested.
We've designed the gateway to be very versatile, allowing developers to easily integrate it into their games and apps. So far, we've made it possible for developers to add any token on the Hive Engine and choose where to call the price, whether it's from the order market or the LP price.
We've also created a clean and intuitive layout design for the checkout process, where the player can choose which token they want to use to pay.
Our efforts have already attracted the attention of businesses interested in starting to accept Hive in their physical stores.
For example, Wilde Sunglasses in Madrid and Barcelona have expressed interest in using our payment gateway to accept Hive payments. We see this as a huge opportunity to showcase the potential of Hive and position Madrid as the Hive's capital.
We believe that this is just the beginning, and that we will continue to attract more businesses that see the value of accepting Hive as a payment method.
The Mid Term Future Of The Project
In the mid-term future of the project, we plan to keep the app free to use without any transaction commissions. However, to sustain the development and ensure its continued success, we are considering a freemium model with additional features for physical stores. One of the most challenging aspects of the project will be onboarding businesses to use our app.
We will need to invest heavily in content creation, networking, and creating a friendly UX/UI process to scale the onboarding process.
Fortunately, we have strong connections in Madrid, where we plan to launch the app initially. We are also present in Argentina, Colombia, and Venezuela, where cryptocurrencies are already used in daily transactions.
We have already received interest from businesses like Wilde Sunglasses in Madrid and Barcelona, and we believe that with the right support and resources, we can make Madrid the capital of Hive.
We plan to create partnerships with other businesses and organizations to encourage the use of Hive and provide a seamless experience for both merchants and customers. We are confident that we can make a significant impact on the adoption of cryptocurrencies in Spain and beyond with the HivePayments app.
In the mid-term future, our payment gateway for ecommerce will focus on creating a dashboard where developers can track metrics and sales to optimize the user experience and attract more clients. Our goal is to create the most accessible experience possible for developers so they can focus on building their brands while we take care of the checkout process.
To make the project sustainable, we plan to charge a 1.5% fee on each successful transaction.
Our focus will also be in creating a strong branding to onboard the most possible projects to start accepting HIVE and this will work really well with our Hive Devs Schoo Projects as will be ean easy way for devs to deploy a checkout experience on their projects.

I'd cast a vote but it seems like a majority of this already exists. I'd be happy to support a funded project though for a marketplace on hive that's comparable to the likes of atomic hub, neftyblocks or nfthive. We need new supporting stuff IMO.
First and foremost I wanted to say that I respect your opinion.
As part of our efforts to improve Hive, we have been working on a new marketplace that we will be introducing soon, I would greatly appreciate your opinion once it is posted here.
I agree with you that Hive needs a market that's comparable with other NFT marketplaces like the ones in the Wax ecosystem, we believe that our market will offer a modern style and increased functionality.
The proposal is for all these projects (which includes the marketplace and the ones that will be posted soon), we would be grateful if you could continue to support us.
