THAT STUPID ACT THAT GAVE BIRTH TO MY TROUBLE

Sometimes children can act so crazy. Secondary school life is characterized as the survival of the fittest when you are strong enough you can have your way through. Stay with me as you tap into my story today. I'll be telling you what got me into trouble and that day I did not even expect that it will happen, I acted that way all all sincerity and my selfish desire and I landed myself into trouble at last. During my secondary school days I was a boarding student so we are always expected to resume before all the students who will always resume Monday so ours is like two days ahead of the general resumption day.
It happened that when Iwas to return to school in my JSS3 my Mom as a strong woman she always make sure she gives me the school fees which was about 3,500 Naira and the feeding money which was about 6,000 naira. That term I say fortunately or unfortunately, mom was not able to meet up with paying the school fees before the resumption date so she told me that I should just go to school and tell them that she will come and clear off. My house master knows my mom very well that he can easy accept the plea also the principal.
When I got to the school instead of telling the principal orhouse master what my mom said I kept quiet as they're telling the students 'if you know you don't have your school fees and your feeding money you should go back home'. In my heart I was so happy that I was going back home. So my house master saw me he said, Deborah even you? I kept quiet. After that I went to the hostel and dropped my my bags and piammm I went home.
My my mommy came back she was so surprised to see me. So what are you doing here? She asked, I said they told us to go home because of school fees, she said what did I tell you to tell them I kept quiet I was just looking at her she started beating me, I so received the Beating of my life that day. I can't even remember the lasttime my mother laid her hands on me. I cried till I could cry no more. The next day she gave me the money I went back to school.
That was a big trouble I landed myself into and thank God she didn't come over to school to tell them what happened because it would have been more trouble for me that was how that one ended.

You didn't pass the information across because you liked the idea of being sent home. More time to spend with family right? I totally can relate as I was also a border at some point in my high school. After the holidays, you don't always feel like resuming back with other students especially if the seniors at the school at mean.

School resumption those days as a boarder really gave me nightmares especially during my junior secondary level.. it felt like going back to the lions den of those brutal senior students.. You were lucky too, your mum didn't drag you back to school.. E for be double wahala for you oo😅
Hehe... I remembered the time I lied that I was feeling sick so that I would not have to go to school. My elder brother saw through my lies, but he did not push for me to go to school.
That day, he used chores to finish me.
No one told me to go to school the next day.
