We can use these again to prepare other foods. So, today I have brought you a sweet dish that you can have for afternoon tea from the dried and prepared String hoppers. This does not cost much. Easy to prepare. And since we prepare this at home, it is healthy and safe. So let's see how to make it.Good morning friends today too. How are you? I hope you are staying healthy and having a wonderful time. When we prepare some foods, there are leftovers. So I preserve those leftovers if appropriate. By drying it in the sun. For example. Rice, hoppers and other materials.
Ingredients;
π About ten dried string hoppers.
π Sugar 80g.
π Coconut oil 300ml.
π Two drops of red food coloring.
π 1/2 Cup of water.
Method of making;
1 step.
First, take a suitable pan and put coconut oil in it and heat it until it becomes hot. Once the oil is well heated, you need to fry these string hoppers one by one, as shown in the pictures below.
2 step.
Then again take a pan and keep it on the stove and let it heat on low flame. Then add some sugar to it.
3 step.
Then add some water to it.
4 step.
Then spoon the sugar solution until it thickens.
5 step.
Then add two drops of food coloring to it.
6 step.
Then keep the fried date hoppers separately and pour the sugar mixture with a spoon one by one. As in the following photos.
Now this delicious String Hoppers-Asmi is finished. This is a delicious Sri Lankan dish. And a dish that is made like in a peaceful city. Children especially like it. It is very easy to make. Try it. An evening meal. Then I will meet with another new dish.
