Let's make a delicious Mallum with highly nutritious winged beans.

Good morning, all Hive friends! I hope you are well. Today, I have a delicious dish to share with you – how to prepare a tasty mallum using winged beans. The protein, fiber, and vitamins present in winged beans make them an excellent choice to meet the protein requirements of vegetarians. Winged beans also offer various nutritional benefits, including support for heart health, aiding digestion, and providing essential vitamins and minerals. Originating from Sri Lanka, this dish is not only delicious but also nutritious. Let's explore how we can prepare this flavorful dish.

Required Ingredients...

🍀 Winged Bean 150g.
🍀 A finely chopped onion.
🍀 Curry leaves.
🍀 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
🍀 1/2 teaspoon of pepper powder.
🍀 1/2 teaspoon of Mustard powder.
🍀 A few green chillies or kochi pods.
🍀 1 cup of grated coconut.
🍀 A little water.

Method of making.

First, take the winged beans and wash them thoroughly. Then, cut them into thin slices.

Then you need to prepare a mixture of coconut. For that, take a blender and add grated coconut, green chillies, onions, curry leaves, pepper powder, turmeric powder, mustard powder and blend it well.

Then, take a cooking vessel and add the sliced winged beans to it. Include approximately 1/3 tablespoon of turmeric powder, about 2 tablespoons of water, and 1/3 teaspoon of salt. Place it on the stove and cook over low heat for approximately 3 minutes.

Then add the prepared coconut mixture to it and mix well. Keep it for about 3 minutes and remove from the heat.
