Let's dry the boiled rice in the sun and make fresh aggala with tea in the evening.
Hello my dear Hive friends,π
Aggala is a Sri Lankan snack made from rice flour, coconut and jaggery or sugar. To make aggala, you need to mix together ingredients like rice flour, grated coconut, sugar or jaggery. Then this mixture is made into small balls this process.
If the boiled rice we eat is left over, we can prevent it from spoiling by drying it in the sun without removing it. This can be done by drying the boiled rice in a thin layer of cooked rice or on a clean flat surface such as a clean cloth in a good sunny place for several hours or until completely dry and non-sticky. Let's see how to make these easy-to-make aggalas.
Ingredients;
250g of parched parboiled rice
3 tablespoons of sugar
Half a cup of grated coconut
Salt as needed
Method...
1 Step.
First take a vessel and heat the parched rice until it turns slightly black. Stir it well for 4 to 5 minutes and do the process. You will understand from the following pictures.
2 Step.
Then put the well-heated rice in a blender and blend it until it becomes flour. As in the images below.
3 Step.
Then take a bowl and add floured rice, grated coconut, sugar and salt.
4 Step.
Then add it all and mix well.
5 Step.
Then form this mixture into small balls. Now the delicious aggala is ready.
You too can easily set this up. A very delicious dish. Best for tea time. Try this too.
So have a great day for you who are healthy. See you again with a new dish.πππ
in Indonesia there is also something like this but I don't really like it because it is too sticky to the teeth and mouth
