Busyness and the healing of nature.
Good evening to all my Hive friends! Today has been a nonstop day for me. Due to a personal need, I had to travel to the children's hospital in Karapitiya, about 10 kilometers away from where I live. Karapitiya is a well-known and busy area, especially for essential healthcare services, with two major hospitals in the vicinity.
I arrived early at the German-Sri Lanka Friendship New Women’s Hospital to sign an agreement related to a dream inspired by the birth of a child. However, the unexpected crowd made my visit take much longer than anticipated.
During my time there, I was able to witness the dedication of the medical staff and hear the thoughtful conversations among patients, who were sharing life stories and personal challenges. It was a poignant reminder of how important it is to be part of a system that focuses on health and supporting others.
After finishing at the hospital, we decided to visit the newly developed Holuwagoda Park nearby. It was an opportunity for my child to enjoy a few new experiences, and we were able to relax and enjoy a meal in the open air. This serene space beginning at Holuwagoda Park, filled with shaded pathways and the calm embrace of greenery, offered a refreshing escape from the usual daily hustle.
When we arrived, only a small number of people were there. The park is still under development, but it already provides a peaceful setting for visitors to unwind and connect with nature.
This place is truly beautiful, an ideal spot for families with children to enjoy a relaxed outing. Walking around the park allowed me to absorb the peacefulness of nature. We spent some quiet moments there, soaking in the fresh air before leaving. I captured some lovely photos and am excited to share them with you.

Have A nice day.
