Greetings!

As a community, we have come a long way together over the years, and more exponentially since The Big Move. What we want for ourselves is to have a space where countrymen have a home to share the Nigerian experience and connect with one another. Together, we'll have a blast of a year.

Welcome to a new edition of the Hive Naija Weekly Prompts. This initiative is one of our activities to explore our creativity and foster connections amongst ourselves. Whether you're a seasoned creator or just discovering the joy of expressing your thoughts, these prompts are crafted to inspire and ignite your creativity, as well as interact with the creativity of others in the community.

She advised me that if I truly want to grow, I should stop asking my parents for money all the time. I should learn to be independent. I was faithful to that agreement at first but as time went by, I couldn't keep up with it. I was still asking for money till I graduated from the university.

As for feeling older than my age, I don't think I have ever felt older than my age. I have the mindset that age is not necessarily an indication of maturity so when I do something that one would see as something typical of an old man, I see it as normal.

In Yoruba, she beckoned on the Police team lead to come, and they were shocked my mom could communicate in the language they were speaking. All through this while, they refused to communicate to us in English Language, just French.
