Life in the Rain

I like rain only in summers and this is because I have found myself stuck in rain many times while hiking in Himalayas. You know that monsoon lasts for about 4-6 months in Himalayas and it rains a lot. Talking about hiking, not only me but also my rucksack got wet in the rain along with all the gears in it. And this is the reason why I do not like rain in Himalayas and winters at all.

All the photos in today's post are photos of the last monsoon which were clicked in August. Today I was thinking about what to post, so while searching I found this wonderful monsoon folder which had all the rain photos. So what was left was to import all the photos in Lightroom and process them a bit after which all the photos were ready to be posted on hive.

I sat at the back window of my house with Sony A7iii camera, it is raining very heavily outside. It is very difficult to guess the time by looking outside but it is the time when children are getting off from school. People have already set out on four wheelers and two wheelers, getting drenched in the rain, to bring their children back from school. Colourful vehicles are coming and going amidst the heavy rain with their headlights on.

There is a small slope near the house from where water is flowing like a small river, when the vehicles are entering this flowing water, the water is splashing so strongly as if they are increasing the speed of the rain. A boy who does not have an umbrella is running very fast, perhaps this boy wants to run and reach his home but unfortunately he will get wet before reaching home.

Parents have made their children wear rain jackets so that neither the children nor their school bags get wet. Some big vehicles are passing through the water collected under the pole, more water is flowing back from above than flowing down. A mother is bringing her son from school under an umbrella, they probably don't have a vehicle, that's why they are walking towards their home in such heavy rain.

One by one, two dogs are going at their own speed, nobody knows where. I am surprised, most dogs hide in a shelter during rain, but these two are probably out on a mission, engrossed in their fun. Or they have some very important work which even the rain cannot stop. Apart from the dog, the weather is behaving as if the rain will not stop today. And this is what happened at that time, the rain did not stop for a week.

This is the story of today's post in which there is rain, people, vehicles, dogs and dark clouds. Do you like rain? Tell us by commenting. This is all for today's post, I will get to see you in the next post, until then take care of yourself and keep smiling.
