Paragüito, the longest trail I've ever walked [Eng/Spa]
I'll tell you once and for all, it has been one of the most exhausting trails I've ever been on, but as I passed by each viewpoint that was taken away and when I reached the end of this trail it felt like winning a prize and of course, in the last picture you will know, it has been one of the best panoramic views of my city and its nearby municipalities.
I want to emphasize that I also had time without climbing such long trails, weeks ago I resumed my favorite trail which is the Leonor Bernabó Park and it is a trail that I have walked since I was a teenager and is still for me one of the best and that leaves you with feelings of freedom and peace.
As many of you know and if not, I live in a beautiful valley, the city of San Felipe, Yaracuy, surrounded by mountains and lots of green, and its nearby municipalities as well, this trail is in one of those municipalities very close to the city of San Felipe, the name of this municipality is quite peculiar, it is called Cocorote and is a small municipality but with great agricultural movement that maintains its economy.
Paraguito, the name of this great trail, was a real challenge because I had not taken into account that it was so long, I had always wanted to climb but I did not think it would be so rough and my dear Eileen and Gabo did not remind me either, in this case Eileen who had already climbed this trail a couple of years ago.
We did many things wrong, a trail of 3.8km almost 4km up (although talking to some guides agrees that it is 4.5km) almost three hours up, we climbed it a little late, the sun did its thing and the vital liquid; water, was nil and reaching the end of the trail, so imagine how difficult it was.
However, as I said at the beginning, it was worth all the effort, because every time we reached the viewpoints it was an image that filled the soul and rekindled the desire to continue.
Paraguito, Cocorote municipality, is one of the most beautiful trails that this municipality has and is very popular since a couple of years ago that was more visited by those viewpoints that captivated many when their photographs went viral.
Now that I knew it, seeing how challenging it is I would do it again, now with water and hat, because it is worth every step on that mountain.
This was the last sign we saw about the kilometer count but after this notice it was several minutes before we reached the end of the trail, so it may be true what some guides and locals say when they say that the trail is longer.
Reaching the wings so named by the networks was like winning a prize and the prize was that view you see behind me.

Wow, that's another great post from you! It seems like yesterday I was reading your awesome post.
My state of Yaracuy is small but big in many landscapes and touristic places, I have had the joy of visiting some of them and I am already planning to go to others. My desire is to know my city and my state in its entirety and thus feel more proud to have been born in Yaracuy and in Venezuela. That if someday you want to come here you can see that you will have a lot to travel and that you will always be welcome in my country.
