Street Art #726 Bayko & Bad, Montreal

I always like to take a "trip" down Graffiti Alley in Montreal. There's often new letterings, especially from visiting artists. There's a wall that changes often, sometimes with interesting letters like the one done last month by Bayko, especially the filling.

WHERE

This wall is located on the Schubert public swimming pool in Montreal's Graffiti Alley. It's not the first time I've mentioned it, but it runs parallel to boulevard Saint Laurent between avenue des Pins and avenue Duluth (the red line on the map).

Bayko

Bayko

This is the second time I've seen lettering by Bayko. The first one was in another StreetArt spot in Montreal, at the Legal Wall de Rouen, see StreetArt #719. He was in town a few weeks ago and took the opportunity to leave some very nice letterings all around the city. He was accompanied by OneTulip 🤔, another style but interesting too.

You can see on the right in the last photo 🔼 a part of the lettering done a few months ago by Queef Burglar. Here's a photo 🔽 from the post Street Art #673.

Before Queef Burglar, there were other letterings, this time by members of the Bad crew. As we're on the slightly darker side of StreetArt, the artists are more discreet. And that's understandable 😀.

And finally, just before Avenue Duluth, there was this tag that I thought was pretty cool. Perfect for Halloween. Favourite lettering?

Bayko is my favorite lettering. The coloring is really cool and really unique. Sometimes I wonder how these artist can keep coming up with lettering that we haven't seen before... really impressive

The lettering done by Bayko is perfect for an alley with all these colors.
Enjoy your first snowfall... Snowman ?

Yes, it brightens everything up.
I so am 😁 Like a kid in a candy store… hehehe 🤣
Will wait for it to build up a bit more. Mid next week we get 2 days with 8 degrees (can change though)
So I wait until after that…
I want to build many snowman ⛄️ and snowanimals… maybe a little snow castle 🏰
I will see…. I will get creative this season. Besides painting the walls, stairs and restoring the floors inside I have to keep busy 😉

Graffiti Alley has a nice ring to it. Pretty much anywhere in the Bushwick neighborhood is fair game for street art.

You're lucky... and so are the artists, if they have a place to practice “legally” in your neighborhood.
Have a great new Week
